Noalox question - Can it be used on other kinds of threads? Like to unfreeze something? I have a stainless steel pin vise that I didn't realize the inside collet thing wasn't stainless steel and I stuck it in water and the collet rusted and I can't uncrew the top off the pin vise. I've tried soaking in WD40 but that didn't work.

It won't work for that. It would have prevented it, however.
You need PB Blaster. Soak it let it sit then spray it again. Try to move it...soak it again.
If 3-4 applications (give it an hour to soak in) fails, use a torch...heat it up then try again to move it. (gloves and tools) Be careful the solvents are flammable.
The last is a mechanic's trick. ;-)

Thanks!! I'll give PB Blaster a try. I have heated the vise up and tried to break the rust after using the WD40. It was quite interesting seeing the flames coming off the top of the pin vise but it didn't help. Hope the PB Blaster will work better.

It's worth trying the PB Blaster. Those stainless steel pin vises are expensive. Thanks for all the help.

I just hope it helps... Those pin-vices can be delicate... Hope it's not too late.
An occasional dousing with silicone spray lubricant, or WD40 to prevent corrosion is always worth the trouble. ;-)

Well, it's the only thing I had. That and pliers. I'm a bunglehead when it comes to mechanical things. But there's usually a You Tube video for mostly everything except opening a specific bottle of hand lotion.

I'm a fan of B'laster white lithium grease spray, various silicone oils, and Liquid Wrench... WD-40, not so much. I'll use WD-40 on stuff I don't care about, but that's just me.

If you like chocolate and coffee and tiramisu, this one's for you. I'm liking that it doesn't gunk up my coils too.

I'm finding this true with all The vape Tree juices I've tried thus far. It's so very very nice not to have to swap cartos halfway thru a 15ml bottle!!!!!!! Not sure how you pulled that one off, GMO, but THANK YOU!!! for carto friendly juices! :)
