Hey stew have your friend contact me or send it back to me and Ill get it rebuilt for him. It is most likely a bad resistor, i buy them 1000 at a time ..it happens.

Haven't yet but I've got two sitting here waiting to be tried on it.
I drilled out the come thy, if you can call it that. took off the little cap on top and then there is a little hole under the cap. that is the part i drilled out so i can drip with it. only takes a couple of minutes to drill the plastic out and then you have a dripper.. works great.
I think I'll order one tomorrow. Has anyone ever tried a 302 atty and do you know if it fits on a 510 connection?
a 302 is a 801 connection redgirl. it is very similar to 801s. I think it is a little tighter draw than the 801 though. a good atty if you like 801s..
Yeah back when I first got them I actually took the cart off and dripped on the bridge twice before deciding it was time to bore the cart out like that and remove the wick and bridge from it. It worked pretty well that way at 3.7v so I look forward to trying it on my GLV2 soon.
BE112 is another version of 801 as well. Just recently got some of these and so far liking them. Haven't yet tried the 302 (which I believe - not sure - is Joye). But, on my GLV2 5V, I am finding I like 901 the best - so far. I think juices play a big part. Juices, at least for me, seem to respond differently on different attys.
For me, fruity and sweet juices (rare occasionals for me - shorter vape sessions too) seem to taste better at 3.7 on 510s. I am finding I like my tobaccos and menthols better on the higher voltage with various attys. At 6V, I tend to use 4.5 oHm attys and 3.3 ohms on 5V.
Even within the tobaccos and menthols, I find variations. For example, I like Tasty Vapors juices better on 901 and Vaperite juices better on 801. But, still many variables - probably a never ending experiment!
BTW, anyone who hasn't tried Vaperite juice(s) - is missing something IMHO

Kona Cream is THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely the very best coffee I have come across. RY4 & 555 are both awesome too. He has lines of "Natural" flavorings and "organics" as well. The Organics Bananas Foster if friggin amazing! If you like tobacco menthols, he has a custom "menthol Maker" that lets you choose the base mix, which tobacco and the level of menthol as well. all of his juices are super clean, no after taste, no dry-mouth - just super clean vape. Certainly in the very top of my BEST juices category. Just placed a new order and will try the Plum and Sarsaparilla

If your GLV is a 801 connection, as mine is, the 302 will not work with your device. It shorts out. It will work with the 510 GLV and a 510/801 adaptor. The adaptor stops it from shorting out. Since my GLV1 is an 801 connector I use a 801/510 adaptor to a 510/801 adaptor then the 302. Works like a charm.
I have recently ordered the GLV2 with a 510 connector which I will only use the 510/801 to be able to use the 302 atty. I used to use 801s and the BE112s then came across the 302s. Now I only use the 302s for 5/6volts and the LR510s for 3.7volts. I'm a happy vaporer now!

Are you getting a good throat hit w/ the 302s at 5V? That is my main criteria for an atty, must have good TH!
I ordered 2 306s today, so, just excited to give them a try!
TH isn't something I look for. I make my own juice and get more TH with more nic. But I am really interested in clouds of vapor. The more clouds the happier I am. So can't really give you a good answer, hope someone else can.
