Aye everyone! This is my first post here, long time lurker.

I ordered a GLV-2 Mini last night, after being totally swayed by Sarah's amazing CS and helpfulness. The reason i ordered such a pricey mod is because my last one (Prodigy v3.1) killed itself (battery failure?) and after some research, found that GLV has a strong customer support system and great dedication.

Blah blah blah, anyway, I can't wait for it to arrive and switching back to analogs for a while is killing me (literally) so I figured I'd start a newb thread on the topic to help pass the time.

For some lol's, check out my super-annoying additional order comment:

Comments:

PLEASE READ: I would LOVE to have the body and endcaps all colored Solar Rain (Black Chrome), but I see that's no longer an option. If there is a way to get that coloration without causing a delay, I would much prefer it. If not, can you please color the endcaps to match the Black Stardust Flip-Flop on the body? Also, is there any way you could have the letters "DS" etched horizontally, in the same stylized font you used for "SHUA"? Again, if nothing else, i would just like the body and endcaps to be matching with Black Stardust Flip-Flop. Thanks! : )

~Sorry to be a pain, Jay, just went through a double-move and had a hard time letting that $ go!

I'm specifically interested in hearing tips on which cartos to use, any problems/solutions a new user should be aware of and especially PICTURES!! there aren't many floating around, I've seen the gallery on the GLV site and a few i googled, as well as a few in an ECF thread, but that still wasn't a whole lot. So please post your pics! Thanks!

510 threading?

Boge are the most popular standard cartomizers for 510 threading

Some people prefer the Smoketech dual coils

Some are interested in trying the new-style CE3 clearomizer/fluxomizers aka Smokymizers with the supposedly unbreakable tubes. Gotvapes have an early version (calling them Fluxomizer Deluxe). You need a blunt syringe or needle-tipped bottle (you can check below any that are in stock to add either to your order)

Yeah, 510 threading.

I've actually been using CE2's (got them 40% off from totally wicked before they sold out) and have LOVED them! I could never go back to an atty/cartridge or carto/filler setup again. -BUT THOSE TUBES! UGH!! I'll go check into these CE3's right now, thanks for letting me know they have an early version available! :)

EDIT: WOAH. Check these out:

Thanks for the info, these seem a little easier to get my hands on too.

Have you heard of any problems with the new clear tubing?

EDIT: TW just got legit CE3's in stock in every color!

EDIT: Should I get 2.4-2.7 Ohms for my GLV-2 Mini?

EDIT: I got a set of Electric Blue and Green @ 2.4-2.7Ohms. :D

Think tanks, they're practically as big as the GLV itself and make GLV's look like the steam engines that they are. And V4P welcome to the wait! Every day you're going to get more excited and anxious for your new GLV's arrival. By the time it finally arrives you're going to have every possible atty, carto, clearo, tank combo you can think of to stick on it and your juice collection will have multiplied tenfold. Oh yeah, by the time you get your GLV you're going to be an expert in every little microscopic aspect of its makeup and use.

Yup, that's how I like to wait: self-tortured and obsessively studious! (not a joke.)
