GLV2 Design Question

Regarding the bottom side of the endcap - there is a hole that has a little black plastic plug in it.

That hole is almost the perfect size to tap out with a m7x.5 tap. This would allow someone to screw a 510 style atomizer or cartomizer into the bottom side of the endcap.

This would be very convenient for carrying the GLV2 in your pocket, or even carrying a spare atomizer/carto.

The hole might be a wee bit close to the main battery tube, but it looks like it would work. If I had a m7x.5 tap I would try it.

You ever think of incorporating that into the design? I know the aluminum might be a little weak for the threads, but that would eliminate the cost of some kind of insert...

Thats a good idea..I like it. The thing that i see being an issue is the extra cost of an insert, because the threads would strip for sure with out one. The other would be an upside down atty /carto may drip. Even a new atty has that nasty priming fluid in it. There is room for an atty/carto but the little condom that comes on a carto may make it to big to fit..i see a lot of potential for cross threading. I may be able to get the shop to make me one just for fun ..ill ask them tomorrow.
