GLV2 Super Mini on the way to me

I really hated to spend even more money on vaping, but I've had my eye on the GLV2 Super Mini for a while now and I finally pulled the trigger on one. I got lucky and got a decent deal on one here in the classifieds. This is the first mod I've bought, went from the cig look a likes to a Riva 901.
I got a good price, so if it doesn't work out with me liking it, I should be able to just re-post it in the classifieds again..... It should arrive this weekend and I may be back with questions folks.

I wish I had bought mine through the classifieds! But I wanted it all matte black, so I ordered it online... With all this GLV3 hubub, it's going to take longer than it would usually take to get here! Oh well, I'm sure I'll love it just as much....

What color scheme did you get, and how much did you get it for? (if you don't mind me asking) I'm just a curious guy... Are you prepared with batts and a charger? You don't want it to show up at your doorstep and not have the right batts...

I have two glv sm, and I love them. Only problem is my husband has absconded with one of them. I may need to buy one more, but I was waiting to see the specs on the glv3 sm!!

Tybin.....I haven't seen Jay mention anything about noalox. I haven't (not sure what that is) and my GLV's work like a charm!

it's antioxidant joint compound. some mods use it, but i just looked in the top cap and see it is not a mechanical mod, so I guess none needed

wouldnt hurt to put some on the threads of the body, then screw into head to disperse.

oh it works beautifully as is. just wanted to make sure i was doing it right. In another mod i'm too lazy to reach up and put it on the pin, so i just put a tiny dot on the top of the battery that makes connection with the pin

Hmmm....is it a necessity? Is it something that I should look for and stock?

I feel it makes threading parts together feel more sturdy. I'm gonna steal a description from someone but he said it like "feels like a high quality stereo's volume knob" or something like that.
I'm also paranoid that juice will get into random parts and corrode them. I know other mods use Vaseline, feels pretty similar. Don't know how well Vaseline works for anti corroding but definitely lubricates well
