Jay.. i gotta be honest... if you go variable voltage youll be ahead of the curve. There are only a couple variable voltage devices available at the moment... and its the opinion of this vaper.. that variable voltage is the future of vaping.. why have 3-4 devices for the different voltage ranges when you can have one that covers them all.

ill be buying a GLV 3 regardless of the variable volt thing.. but ill still be buying a variable voltage device at some point... so what this means is.. the GLV 3 WILL get faded out to a variable voltage device at some point, why not just go ahead an prevent that from happening and make the GLV 3 the end all be all PV...

just my :2c:

I gotta put my vote in for variable voltage as well. I have been using the fistpack, and at first I was skeptical. But I do love being able to switch voltages on the fly. Certain juices are better at certain voltages... I keep 3 AFSs loaded with different flavors, Atomic Cinnacide at 4.something volts and my Clove at 5.something volts...

Would really like to be able to switch from 4ish to 5ish to 6ish on the fly. The fistpack doesn't seem to have a real big variance in the voltages, but its enough. That may be due to the limitations of the switch though.

I have not been able to put it down since I got it. I am absolutely chomping at the bit to see a variable voltage mod with a feed system that looks as sexy as that GLV beast...and has the resiliency of being in a metal housing as well.

I'd still rather see bottom fed vs. frankentube... but... ya know... I think I'll live.

Sorry to discuss a competitors product, just need a basis for comparison.

I agree Waffle, I am running the newer Tekkeon Mod and I have the Tekkeon with the adjustable voltage, only a few of them around from what I understand and I too keep three AFS units loaded and switch em out during the day, and my 4th AVS is in the mail and should be here today hopefully and running variable voltage has a few nice options when it comes to Attys and juice.!!!

Please don't do a top feeder only, top feeders are not as good as bottom feeders unless you are a dripper.

I'd like to hear your rationale for this. Not trying to be a jerk. I'd just like to understand why.

It seems to me that the bottom feeders have a serious design flaw with fluid running back down the outside of the needle/tube they push the juice up with. This would lead to trashing the power supply and/or a switch.

I wonder if that is what's happening with the Wetboxes? They seem to be having a high rate of failure, which is too bad as it looked like a nice, inexpensive little mod...

I don't have a wetbox, but I know Kaji and Reo's bottom fed systems don't seem to have that problem. I know they took extensive efforts to keep them tight though. I have yet to see any juice go where it doesn't belong on those units.

Probably just a matter of engineering.

I received my GLV-2 yesterday and its phenomenal so I cannot wait for your next project. I am now curious about the whole vari-volt thing as I now know how different the juices can taste at 3.7, 5, and 6 and that obviously leaves a lot of play in between those that may be the optimal voltage for that juice -- for example, Ms T's blackberry jelly finally tastes like jelly with the glv-2, it just wasn't as good at 3.7 and 6. I also have a competitors afs and I agree that bottom feeding is the way to go; I have flooded the crap out of this thing (I just can't tell when its loaded, thank god I use firearms seldomly:laugh:) and never a leak, its very well made but blows through batteries. I just think the shorter the tube and feeding system, the better and the easier to keep clean and switch juices out. Also, is it going to be available in the same powder coated colors -- I don't like the metal look myself, too sterile. Wish you had some attys in those colors too, I use green attys with my 'Nebulinator' but its not the same:laugh:.
Thanks, Jay!
