I spent this morning polishing my GGTB's. I love these because of the 7.4v stealth capability. These are so nice and slim and they fit perfectly in my shirt pocket.
I have 3. A brass one, a nickel and my latest one was really my first one. It was a regular nickel but the nickel had worn off. I looked into having it re-plated in nickel but could not find anyone locally to do it. By accident I found a local old timey lamp store that did in house silver plating. I mention this for the sake of anyone that's in a similar situation with their nickel.
I stripped the old nickel off of the GGTB down to the brass, then I buffed it out with fine rouge. I then dropped it off at the plater and he turned it around for me in a couple days. He plated it with a heavy coat of jewlers grade Sterling Silver and the result is outstanding. The charge for this was a whopping $15 bucks and any good lamp store will usually do silver plating.
The Sterling one is the one with the Amboyna drip cup. I made the drip cup out of a little chunk of Amboyna Burl because this is the mod I use when I go to meetings that require a suit and tie. I like to keep my mods in my shirt pocket and didn't want to run the risk of staining my shirt with juice.

My camera just isn't good enough to do these things justice.
As for the Flitz polish and wax, I've been using this for years on vintage guns and cannot recommend it highly enough. The polish is non abrasive and doesn't have any acids. It cleans up very well and buffs beautifully. The wax is also Flitz and is a combination of carnuba and beeswax and actually leaves a protective coating that protects against fingerprints. It also keeps the brass looking bright for a long time due to this.
Here's a better shot of that grip cup in case anybody wants to make one themselves.

Cheers
