Off topic but since Ive been asked about tanks for 510 by GO GO users I thought it would be okay to post. Please check my profile page for info on the 510 tanks, thanks.

Since the gogo tanks you sent me work so well, I was going to order some 510 tanks from you but I thought I'd wait until you feel better.

Do the GOGO batteries have a memory? I have been waiting for them to blink 15 times before recharging them but they don't perform as well in the last 100 clicks or so. I get 5-600 clicks per charge. I had heard that people were getting over 1000 clicks but I have never gotten over 600+. So, my question is does anyone charge them before they have totally run down and does that impact performance and longevity?

Hey there Urge, I think it really depends on how long of a draw you take as to how many "Clicks" you get out of it, I take very very long draws, (anywhere from 5 to 8 second draws), and I get about 500 to 700 out of a charge. Others take very short 1-4 second draws and can definitely get well over 1000 draws off of a charge. I don't think they have a Battery Memory per say, but Lithium Ion batteries do have a Finite number of charges they can take before they start to degrade in performance so most people do let them drain all the way down before recharging.

As far as the decreased performance towards the end, that is what I use to gauge whether or not I am going to take an extra battery with me or not, if it is still hitting hard ten I don't take one, but if I am getting slightly less flavor and TH then I know that the battery is nearing the end of it's charge so I will usually take a spare battery with me.

I hope this helps;
Nate aka Darth Vapor

Ok guys, check this out. First let me say that I guess I'm too cheap to spring the bucks for these, but I checked them out and they look way cool. If I was camping with just one Go-go at a time, I'd do it, but some of you may really flip for them.

I'm not an expert, so my memory might be off, but they are a smart battery and memory is not an issue. Performance does tail off as the battery loses charge. I usually go one day with a battery and recharge overnight and either use that battery or rotate with my other one to start the next day. I do not wait to run a battery out. Both my batteries are 3 months old + with no memory issues.

Alright, I just got my Chopper Cyclone tank in the mail today. I read somewhere that you need to clean or flush it out before filling and vaping. What exactly is recommended to do before use?

Urge

You don't need to flush out the cartomizer that comes with it. They recommend that you clean out the plastic tank itself prior to first use. It's really no big deal.

So how do I clean out the plastic tank? Do I wash it out with distilled water and then I have to let it dry for a few days? Can I or should I disassemble it so I am only washing out the plastic tank? You say "they" who would that be? Chopper? do you have a link to a post that goes over what is recommended? I have been trying to read this whole thread but it is 205 pages and it takes awhile to get thru(even worse if you watch the videos). I can't wait to try it. Has anyone taken apart Chopper's tank to wash out the filling and dry burn the coil?

Urge:

You don't want to wash the filler, just remove the tank from the carto and give it a quick rinse (and the rubber ends/plug). Some don't bother to wash anything at all, just a recommendation. Washing the filler will just make things more difficult (drying time etc...). You only need to do this after a while of use when things build-up inside and the carto no no longer gives optimum performance.
Enjoy.

These Chopper tanks are great. They are the best improvement to the gogo that I think has come along. I received some stainless cartos for my tank a couple weeks ago and filled it up following the instructions to the letter. I did let it set for about 2 hrs before I used it. Vapor, flavor was great. I've been using it for 11 days now and there are absolutely no problems with it whatsoever. No leaks, no dry hits and no flooding. The combination of the gocart and the Chopper tank is a match made in vaping heaven. If you don't have one, get one or two. You won't be disappointed. Thanks Chopper for making such a fine product. I am one happy vaper.

So why do you need the filler in the carto with Chopper's Cyclone tank? I've seen setups where the coil is just immersed in the e-liquid, and people drip the e-liquid right onto GOGO carto coils with the filler removed. why won't that work with this? Hey, I'm a noob to vaping, I get to ask these questions!

Urge

I believe all the juice would leak out because of the design of the carto. I could be wrong though.

Yes Spaz is right, the juice would leak out. When people drip the gocart they are using just a few drops from what I understand. If the carto had no filler to absorb all that juice.Well lets just say you are in for a big ole mess of juice.I am working on something now and I hope if I can get it right I will try a tank with a carto with no filler in it.Just trying to come up with the right combo of stuff is the tricky part.I will post update when I either have done it or failed it.

Factoring in coil placement, filler material and all that, the cartos were originally designed to operate correctly with a certain amount of filler in it and a heating coil placed in exactly the right place for a constant delivery of vaporized juice. The chopper tanks take the gocart design and modify it. It doesn't modify the carto, it just supplys a steady supply of juice to the filler. The basic design needs filler material for it to operate properly.

Fellow GO GO'er in need of some help.I fear my one and only GO GO battery is dying. It barely hits anymore, meaning its lacking the power to fire the carto. As I'm on a very tight budget with all the health issues and such.Would anyone have a spare battery that has some life left that would trade it for a tank with a drip tip?I just need one to get me by for a few weeks. Not asking for a hand out, just a helping hand, thanks.
