kalimist. this is very common with a lot of folks and could be several reasons. First when you started smoking you would cough, right? Well this could be the same thing and just have to get used to vapor. Also she is inhaling something that may be cleaning her lungs, just thought.

There could also be some kind of issue with PG or VG with her as some folks seem to have problems with one or the other.

I she vaping menthol by chance because this could be a problem.

I did cough for a couple of days when I started vaping but it went away.

I don't know if any of this helps but just thinking and typing on her issue.

Thanks.
It wasn't menthol but your point about coughing when first starting smoking makes alot of sense, I dont think I coughed that much when I started smoking probably due to being brought up in a very smokey household but I know most people will cough a fair bit untill they get used to it.
As for the pg vg side of things, I think she's tried a pure pg and a pg vg mix with the same coughing result. The reason I ended up getting myself some vg to mix with my pg was because I would get a slightly sore throat from pg alone, at least thats what I put it down to, and it was the one of the best investments I made, the vg increased vapor production buy 100%, for a while there I could not work out why the vapor was so thin, then I got the go-go and it increased vapor even more.
Its been quite a learning process as far as the mixing is concerned but I also find it to be great when I discover something really simple that can increase the pleasure of vaping.

Kali, Have your partner take in the vapor into her mouth first and then into her lungs. I've had dedicated two packers a day cough their lungs out with vapor when they first tried it because they inhaled directly into their lungs.
Yeah I've noticed most people that have tried it tend to suck directly into their lungs, my partner did this the first time and exploded into a coughing fit, then I told her to treat it just like a cigarette and she still coughed a fair bit but not quite as much. Hopefully she hasnt been put off but I know she is aprehensive about having another puff.
The worst part is she didnt start smoking until she was 27 and it was me that got her into it, I did warn her though about the addiction and other associated problems with smoking, hopefully she will see how much I enjoy vaping and keep trying to get used to it.

A few people cannot handle PG at all. Try pure VG and see how that works. Little TH, but lots of VAPOR! :vapor: My roommate uses pure VG with NO nic and NO flavor. UGH! But to each their own (he just wanted the action and vapor - he never did care about nicotine!!)

I do about 25% vg 75% pg, works well for me, havent had the slight sore throat since begining these measurements. The only thing I may change in the future is uping the nic, i'm at about 18mg at the moment but depending on flavor I may need to increase to attain desired throat hit.
As for 100% vg and no flavor and no nic, I havent tried that, cant say it sounds appealing but everybody is after something different I suppose.
I'm loving cola at the moment, also getting into double chocolate.

So the Gogo can be used with an emdcc with a 510 adapter right? I am hearing the GoGo battery has a higher voltage than the eGo and even the KGo batteries.

My understanding is that the gogo comes off the charger at 4.2v or so. The same as the KGO and more than the eGo. The gogo is reputed to keep the higher voltage for a longer time between charging cycles though.

Mohawkx, your profile picture is awesome, I'd never have thought a racoon would hold a kitten like that, is it a pet racoon?
I dont know anything about racoons as we dont have them in NZ but just by going by that pic they seem to be pretty cool creatures.

Someone sent me that picture as an attachment. I'd be glad to send the original size to you. Here in the states, many people in rural areas keep racoons for pets and they domesticate well. They do tend to be overly curious and get in to anything. They have an uncanny talent for opening boxes, jars and cabinets. They have opposing thumbs which makes them extremely dexterous. They are also very fastidious and generally wash all their food prior to eating it if they can. They can grow up to 25 lbs and live for 12 years but most die within a year or two due to unfortunate meetings with vehicles. They breed like, .......well.......racoons. If you brought two to NZ, within 5 years your country would be overrun with racoons. There's a saying here in America that if there ever was a nuclear war and all animals were wiped out, the only thing left would be cockroaches, coyotes and racoons. They definately are a hardy bunch. The animal in that picture is obviously a rural house pet. One day you want to hug them for the cute qualities in the picture, the next day you want to shoot them for eating all the chocolate-chip cookies you just baked.

I thought I heard that too but can't find any "proof" or documentation on the matter.

I just got some Dual Coil Clearomizers from DiscountVapers today. They look very well made and the clear tube is new for the Go-go (at least as far as I know). I filled it with 110 drops and could watch as the liquid moved down. It performs great and I am getting huge vapor clouds and a good TH. The draw on it is tighter than the regular Go-cart and some prefer that. On the first one I don't hear the snap, crackle, pop like I do on the Boge Leo DCs, which is nice if you're trying to be subtle. The flavor is great with no alterations. I'll continue to use these.

Well the gogo battery with 510 adapter definitely does not work well with emdcc's. There's a considerable gap so the battery (adapter) doesn't make a connection with the center post of the emdcc, more than can be compensated by filing down the cartomizer skirt or the wide part of the adapter that stops it. I'm open to suggestions...
