Yes, definitely check with Eric in his thread. The two I got from another vendor that started me off almost eight months ago are dead now, but the ones I got from Eric about six months ago are still going strong! I've got five and rotate for charge & flavors.

Eric will fix if he can, but talk to him and see what he says. :)

I must be cursed, I already had to send one back because it started rattling, and now one of them will not fire at all. I put it on the charger and it flashes 6 times, but then the light goes to green and stays that color. Am I screwed, or is there a fix for this?

Probably need to pry up the batt post a tiny bit. :2cool:
You probably already found a fix but wanted to revive a great thread for the Go-Go Nation!
This thread just celebrated it's one year anniversary. I wonder where all the original members of the Nation are and what they are vaping.:vapor:
I guess the original thread Go-go Vs Ego started by charter member Greyrat has died.

I wonder where all the original members of the Nation are and what they are vaping.

I don't know how "original" I am but I am now a happy vaper in Beautiful British Columbia and here's what's been in my pocket for the last couple of days:

A Blue Elite: ELITE 808 BATTERY

And a Brown Marble Leo: Genuine boge leo battery-low price $15.00

with a Dual Coil/Low Resistance carto: Leo Dual Coil Cartomizer

And for the extra TH edge the Elite has on a Go-cart ... I've put a Go-go to KR808 adapter on my favorite Go-go so I can vape an Elite carto on a long-lasting Go-go batt.

Why do I carry 3 PV's around with me with 3 different tobacco flavors?

Because I Can.

I think that I'm one of the early members, and I'm still here. I have 4 working GoGos, 6 working Egos (including 2 Cs type B), 2 working Kgos, 2 working Echos, one Big Daddy VV Mod (very nice), and one Madvapes 5 volt mod.

One of my GoGos is bright red - cone and carto also - with a stainless steel drip tip. It sure is pretty, and it works just as good as it did on day one - including the original red carto.

What I like and use the most depends on my mood and what juices I have on hand. What I usually carry in my pocket when I go somewhere is two of my original Ego-Ts Type B Tank - or with EMDCCs for times when I'm going to be out longer. I've been very fortunate over the last year with longevity of my PVs. I managed to burn out 1 GoGo. I've barely used my 2 Echos because I don't like the automatic and just never got comfortable with them.

I'm still here and I check the ECF Forum every day. It's been well over a year since I found the Gogo system and finally gave up cigarettes, never to touch another one. I only use two types of batteries. A gogo and a KGO. I still use the original gogo cartomizers I purchased in March of 2011 and clean and rebuild them regularly. I use the SmokeTek 1.7 and Boge 2.0 cartos on the KGOs and gogos with an adapter. I also have a nice stash of echo-e chrome cartos that I use. Both ech-es and gogo cartos can be rebuilt. The boge 2.0s and resurrector 1.7s will work for a month for me if I use the right juices. My area of e-cig study and experimentation has been mostly matching juice mixes and flavors with different cartos for best taste and longevity. I rarely ever buy anything anymore except juice. I joined the local rec center about a year ago after I quit for good and exercise 4 times a week on the elipticals and power walking. My cardiologist says I'm his poster boy, patient and my primary care dr. says I'm the star of his practice. Not too bad for a guy who had a quintuple heart bypass and 5 other major cardiac related surgeries. My entire life is sooooooo much better now that I found ECF and the gogo to set me on the right track to good health. I don't have much to say anymore. The rate of change in the e-cig development world has left me in the dust. I'm perfectly happy just watching a whole new crop of devotees experiment and find solutions to e-cig challenges and experience the wonders of the e-cig development community. Carry On.........................:)

Well, I saw the 6 month life expectancy and decided to just get a couple new ones. Glad I did! Much stronger hit from the new batteries! HUGE difference from my 5 old ones. After I drain this battery I'm going to go through the old ones and toss any that aren't working well.

The new ones don't need to be screwed down on the charger or cartos nearly as far as the older ones. That's another added plus. Don't need to screw with the center post on these at all, and won't have to for quite a while seeing that I don't even need to screw them all the way down to get a connection. The washers on the older ones are probably wore out, causing the post to be down further than it should be.

I just tossed one that when plugging into the charger flashes 3 x's, then 3 more and won't charge. Charger light remains green throughout. It was rattling, so I think it's broken. It just isn't worth the time or hassle.

I hadn't heard about overcharging them being bad. I've always just put them on the charger and removed them when another needs charged or whenever I got around to it. I may have fouled some doing this. From now on I'll keep an eye out for the green light and remove.

I was going to email DiscountVapers the other day to see why I hadn't received the batteries yet. Went to my email and had a message from that pay place reminding me to PAY for it. I had forgotten to send the money. ROFL! Got the batts within 2 days of paying. Gotta love my bad memory, LOL! I knew something was wrong because I always receive anything I buy from them within a couple days. So glad the pay place sent a reminder. I'd have been so embarrassed.

Have to send kudos out for DiscountVapers! They have some items that you just can't find anywhere else, and their prices are great!

I got a couple button covers from them, CHEAP. Don't have to worry about them firing in my pocket or purse now. Burned up at least a couple cartos that were just filled. Really sucks when you fill a carto and think you're set for the day and end up having an empty, burned up carto when you get where you're going...especially when you didn't bring extra cartos or juice. *UGH*

Also got some clear cartos. I have been curious about some cartos that just aren't hitting, but add a bit of juice and they're overfilled. These allow me to visually see what's going on. A lot of this has been the batteries I think. The carto I've been vaping since last night was barely hitting with the old batteries. Put on the new battery and getting plumes of vapor!

I was tossing old cartos when they wouldn't hit properly anymore. I had tried to disassemble, clean and reassemble. A lot of hassle that I decided wasn't worth it. I'm going to try just rinsing them now, because I can see blackened buildup around the area that gets heated in the clear ones. I rinsed a clear one and it cleaned up easily. Let it dry 2-3 days, filled it and it's hitting like new! That I can do. I'll get a bit more life out of them just rinsing, and it's easy. I smoke darker juices and I think it gunks them up quickly.

The clear ones seem to have a heating wire that goes up the center tube which I don't think the regular cartos have. That's what helped me see the gunk building up around the heating wire. I'm really glad I bought some. It has helped me see what's going on, and I'll be saving money rinsing cartos instead of throwing them away prematurely!

Always learning more about vaping. This community is great, and so are most of the sellers!

OH! Another thing that took my blonde self forever to figure out: I was in the habit of smoking analogs when I was drinking. I just couldn't feel the hit from the e-cig when drinking.

I bought higher mg nic for when I'm drinking and problem solved. Haven't smoked ANY analogs for 3 months since I tried this. No more waking up in the morning, smacking lips a couple times and thinking "EWWW! I smoked again! My mouth tastes like an ashtray!"

Oh, we are having a class reunion! I was here a while back and many people gave me some great advice. I used the go-go for a while and then upgraded to a provari. I love/loved the go-go and would recommend it as a great starter, although many people don't like to recommend something with proprietary threading.

The go-go was great to get me off cigs (hopefully permanently) and I still keep my 5 batts and cartos for backup.

Abso-freakin'-lutely!

It's the perfect - Ain't broke - Don't Need Fixing.

Definitely. Since I got the Go-Go it's been easy sailing. Well, besides the center posts at first. Since that's been solved I've had no need to come here to ask questions.

My vaping consists of buying cartos and juice. No fiddling, no fumbling, no problems at all. The Go-Go is the perfect vape for me! Couldn't be easier.

Whenever I have a problem I just look at what I'm doing and what I'm working with. It's always user error or needing to replace worn out parts.

Good to see everyone but wonder where Greyrat and Les are hangin out. I still recommend the Go-Go and sent a set to a new vaper this week. I have many different PV's but I think the Go-Go is still the best 1300 manual PV and the Echo is the best auto. The Echo Kuwako is my main PV I use the most because I love an auto pipe and it has a great matching 3.4 cone carto. I do like to experiment and try every new carto that comes out so I have couple of mods for that. I have a Mini Lava that I have on a lanyard that I put on in the morning and take off when I go to bed.lol I don't use it all the time but when I need a good hit it is always primed and ready. I'm using it with the new Ce3 right now. My nicest and prettiest PV is my new Redwood Burl LG Indulgence and I really like to use it usually with a silver ressurector. I never get tired of looking at it or holding it and is my pride and joy.lol I wanted to use a kick with it but the tube was a little too big for it to work good with it so I sold the kick.
The Go-Go will always be a special PV for me and one I will always recommend to someone wanting to stepup to a good all day reliable PV. The people I have met on this thread over the last year have made the experience even more enjoyable.

Class reunion? waving smiley-1.gif I still have a GoGo in my daily rotation. I only have 4 batts left, my neighbor liked it so well I finally just gave her a whole kit. And she's smoke-free since she started using it - nearly 4 months. :thumb:
