Go-Go Specific: Thread for All things Go Go

My Go Go's have been taking a lot of punishment, especially at work when they roll off the workbench and hit the floor. Two of my batteries have suffered an awful fate!
I came up with this solution and it's been working great.

WELL how are the gogo tanks working out for everybody that have them.

The Go-Go now serves as my trusty back-up, and a good one at that. But of the four Go-tanks I have, ALL of them flood/leak quite easily. I found the source of my first flooding experience, and it wasn't due to drawing too hard. It was because the tank itself ever so slightly slid out of the base, creating a tiny opening between the mouth piece end and the little rubber nip-tip that meets, allowing juice to flow down the tube and through the bottom hole onto whatever is there--usually the battery.

I can't make any sense out of the fact that they still leak, though. I check (more often than I want) to make sure the tank rest at the bottom of the base shield, and it's fine. The only thing I can say with certainty is that after taking these things apart for a thorough cleaning, the tank does slip out much more easily from the base when put back together. Maybe that's the problem, my disassembly cleaning method may be wearing the seal between the plastic and the metal at the base.

Either way, that has been my experience with the Go-tanks. Other than that issue, they are great for flavor and TH, but tend to "sneak up" on un-suspecting first-timers throats because it's slighty difficult to tell what kind of hit you took until you let off. Haha every other first-timer chokes when they try this set up, in my experience.

That might be your problem. I haven't had a drop leak from my Go-tank. I haven't cleaned it yet either. But it's almost time to. I'm just going to do what I did with the Vision/Stardust tank. Unscrew the top and rinse with very warm, water.

Hey there, bobalex!
I like to change flavors a lot, and I found that no matter how long I rinsed, with just the top taken off, there was still some eliquid left in the nooks and crannys, such as that "nip-tip", and also at the very bottom catch of the base around the tube.

But I suppose for folks contempt with just a few flavors your method would work just fine, as you would most likely be re-filling with the same juice, maybe multiple tanks dedicated to thier own flavor...seeing as how they are so reasonably priced I should just do that myself, but I'm cheap (or attempting to be). Whenever I find a few more ADVs, I'll do that for sure.

That's exactly how I vape. 3 flavors (all tobacco all the time) in 3 tanks.

The 'Premium Tanks' get a big  from me!
Lovin' the added 'flavor' punch that the Go-carts lacked ... (altho' they were perfectly good until I tried these!)

Well blondeambition it has been a long time since I've seen you post. I hope all is well! I wonder about where some of the original Go-Go members are these days.
Good to see you are still hanging in there.:)

I had one of the new tanks and loved it! Until ... I filled it 2-3 times and it gunked up. I use darker juices and they gunk cartos up quickly. Cleaned it, let it dry. Started to fill it and the liquid instantly began running out of the bottom. I can't remember if I just rinsed and soaked it in hot water or if I put it in the ultrasonic cleaner, but whatever I did killed it. :(

I'm gonna stick to regular cartos since my juice seems to make me go through them more quickly than others. *sigh*

Almost 6 months with the Go Go and still completely satisfied. I still have some original cartos in the rotation too. I don't understand why the Go Go isn't more popular.

Right out of the gate I'd say it was because the Go-Go isn't 510 naturally so isn't as swap-friendly as most would like, now of course there are adapters readily available ~ besides if we haller about the greatness too much there will be a stampede to the check-outs, LOL

I know because the Go-Go's proprietary it makes people leery. I thought I might need adapters so I could use my other stuff ... until I tried it. I put one of my 808 cartos on it and yeah ... having a 1300 mAh batt as a long lasting power source was neat ... but the Go-carts are what make the Go-Go great. And the Go-tanks take it to a whole new level.

Man, I just got some of the new tanks today and am very unimpressed. :( Flavors are muted - almost completely missing actually, and the warmth is gone. Takes a much longer draw over the standard go carts to get the same hit (I normally don't use a drip tip and take the little plug out of the regular cart, so that probably explains that). Do these things need to break in a few days or what?

They are designed very nicely though and look quite cool.. Oh well.

Go-Go-ing here too. I love them! I'm not a fan of tanks or clearos. Not my thang. And who need 'em when you have the Go-carts? Great PV. Lasts forever, cartos can be refilled so many times I've lost count. Flavor is always consistent. This puppy is the one I have with me all the time. Yes, I do love my eGo T Mod and my 3.7 Gripper which are 510/eGo threaded. I use them too (the replaceable batteries are a big draw...the eGo T Mod uses 18650s and the little Gripper uses 18350s) But the Go-Go is my "old reliable". Must have. Great device. I have dozens of X2s, eGos, kGos, a LavaTube, etc. But Go-Go continues to rank very high with me. In addition to CigEasy they are also available at Discount Vapers (guess everyone knows that by now..didn't read the whole thread). Anyway, I recommend them highly...still!
