Ditto Bob, How are you liking BC? Do you have any problems getting supplies across the border?:2cool:

Hey TX - BC is Great! We're from Seattle so we're used to grey skies and various degrees of rain. I'm not used to Celsius though. In Seattle I'd be walking down the street fairly comfortable with the outside temp of 44 - 45 degrees. Now it seems colder when I hear on the radio it's 7 degrees outside.

No problemo with e-cig supplies. I came up here with a ton of e-liquid and plenty of Go-carts and Elite cartos. Mid-November we flew down to the LA area for my daughter's wedding and since we were in the area I finally got to meet Frank from CigEasy in The Real World. And stocked up on lots more e-liquid and cartomizers.

There was a slight hassle at LAX. Was it over 20 ounces of e-liquid? Nope. My wife's contact lens solution set off the scrutiny.

So now we're back, I've got my Elite and Go-go supplies for months into the future, and all's right with the world.

Though I've been a Go-go guy since February ... I've never done the ultimate Go-cart disassembling, cleaning, dry-burning, and reconstruction routine as outlined by mohawkx. I've used the ultrasonic cleaner and that's about it. The biggest hurdle I've had is finding The Straw. Periodically I've ducked into coffee shops, done a quick search, and never have found The Straw. I've read that a few of you have done The Straw search and found The Straw in bars. That's not an option for me for a whole lot of reasons. So ...

Is there a member of Go-go Nation out there who would consider sending me The Straw? I don't think it would cause an International furor in customs. It's just a straw ...

Anyway .... shoot me a PM if you've got an extra.

I figure if I can resuscitate half of my older Go-carts (and Elite cartos) I'll be set for all of next year.

I found a small metal tube at a RC model shop that works very well..I think it cost $1.50..

That would be great! What size (diameter & length - well length not so important I guess, but diameter)?

Sorry I don't know for sure because I removed the tag but what I did was I carried a carto in with me to try it to make sure I had the right one. The RC shop I went to had a display with 20 or 30 different sizes so tried a few until I found the right one..

The length is about 1ft so plenty to work with..

It's too bad that none of the Go-go vendors carry this tube...I guess they wouldn't sell as many cartomizers if they did :p

I've found that my GoGo batts aren't contacting the Go carts without taking needle nose pliers and pulling the Gocart center post out during battery changes. Since it happens with all Gocarts I would assume that the GoGo battery center posts have dropped a bit. Turns out to be a royal pain on every batt change!!!

Anyone know how to raise the post on the batts without messing the batt up??

Cross posting this in the GoGo thread hoping for an answer!!

Thanks!!

All batts (including the ego/riva/etc.) have a "floating" center post, they are merely tapped in a silicone washer, so BE CAREFUL when making any adjustments or you'll ruin them, they are soldered and wired underneath and too, breaking the seal of the washer completely will allow leakage of juice into the batt compartment.
Think of removing a lid from a paint can where you slightly leaver off, re-position and lever again? thats the sort of thing you can do to the batt center post, as well as the cartos. Its not uncommon at all, and in fact is one of the first things to consider when an atty/carto/whatever isn't "working" right away. :2c:

asti is right as they all will do that. You can gently pry up on the battery post in a X type of pattern. That's what I do and I use a paper clip,tweezers,etc....

Y'know ... A Go-cart is less expensive than a Go-go battery so if there is any center post yanking ... it should be on the Go-cart. I've got a couple of Go-go batteries in rotation that shove the center post down on the carto. And I'm having to compensate for it on the Go-carts by tweezing up the center carto post. The alternative is to fool with the battery and I've read too many posts that detail how that leads to Dead Go-gos.

Do Not Taunt The Go-go. As Cleavon Little said in Blazing Saddles, "Just do what he say ... do what he say."

Lol and I was looking for some kind of clip that would achieve the same thing as this.;)
tape punch scissors.jpggogo stripe.jpg
You don't need me to explain I think, but here it is just because it took me a few attempts for it to look good.

1.) Cut thin strip of E-tape - twice the length of what you need to wrap your PV. This is so you can cut off the ends of the tape your fingers touch when handling and cut to fit.
2.) Punch a hole in tape strip.
3.) Situate tape hole over button with the cone on, careful not to stretch the hole so it fits nice. Wrap while lining the edge of the tape with the cone edge.
Why: The small air holes on the cone edge are easier to negotiate than trimming later. It's easier to trim excess on the battery side with a utility knife. The cone/threaded side is much harder to make look clean with a blade. A crappy tape edge looks bad without the cone (tanks etc).
4.) Wrap one side halfway, cut the part you fingers were touching, then the other side, and cut likewise. E-tape lasts a long time when the edges of it stay down, which usually peel because of stretching, oil/dirt from fingers, etc. It will survive lots of wiping leaking e-juice like this.
5.) Score the batt side of tape with a knife, rolling motion works well. Run thumbnail along that edge if it needs tucking/smoothing.

It can look like factory semi gloss paint and should last a long time if done well. Happy vaping.

When you fill it are you blowing out any that might have gone down the tube? It helps to do that if you haven't been.

Yessir... When I opened it up and too off the outer layer of batting, i found the 2 inner pieces were burnt up. Guess i was hitting it too much before it could re-absorb juice!

I got more on the way!

For the Information of all Hands:

For the Go Go Nation I am offering free modification of any Go Go Cones to fit the Go Go Dual Coil Cartomizers. All you pay is the cost to get the cone to me. I will ship it back to you the day after I get it fully ready to be used with the Dual Coil Cartos.
