I just got two packs of 5 cartomizers from DiscountVapers. They have a great price so I decided to try them. What surprised me was when I opened the first one to fill, I noticed that the center tube was smaller than I'm used to. I remember about a year ago, when I first started using the Go-go, the center tube was changed to a larger diameter. It happened about two months after they first came out and they never went back to the smaller tubes after that. I don't remember the reason why but it seems like they improved the flavor by doing that. Some of you may know the reason.

I went ahead and filled it and started using. I found that there was something not quite right about this carto and I suspect it is related to the old style center tube. Have any of you seen this?

I never noticed the change in the size of the center tube myself. I do remember it being discussed way back in the beginning. The guys that rebuild them or remove the filler to clean them should know. I haven't seen Mohawkz around lately but he would know being as they probably would need different size straws. Mine all seem to be the same size but I don't think I've bought any five packs from DV. I did buy a couple of colored cartos and they are the same as the black ones I have. I have noticed the density of the filler is different in some of them.
It has been right at a year since you first started the Go-Go and eGo comparison thread and the Go-Go Nation began.:2cool::vapor:

Hey txtumbleweed! Can you believe it's been almost a year, 2-18-2011?!?! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ego-type-models/163146-ego-t-vs-go-go.html
Yep and it looks like the Go-Go has held it's own in a year of lots of changes. We now have all kinds of different Go-Go adapters and accessories that you can buy without buying a kit. Kit prices are down about 10-15 dollars too. More citizens join the Nation everyday thanks to you. I guess we could name you the founding father!:2cool::vapor:

Wow rolandpibb, do you still use them? :)

Lol I found them when I was digging out all my old gear for a fire sale. I just HAD to get me an epipemod.

I also found a 2nd gen chopper tank and punched cartos that I haven't used either.

I have moved on to a Reo mini, and soon an epipemod with a smoktech 1.7 tank. I just found that the later generations of Gogo cartos performed poorly compared to the 1st and 2nd gen. and I didn't get the satisfaction that I was used to.

They required cleaning more often, were too finicky, and I got tired of the magic marker shape and huge mouthpiece. The 1.7 cartos I use now provide the bigger TH I'm looking for, and with the Reo/tank, I'm getting the benefits of the large capacity of the go-go cartos.

I guess I've seen the landscape change and I have moved away from the Go-go nation, but I still look back with very fond memories.

Hello from two new citizens of Go Go Nation! My wife and I just ordered two kits of the $45 dollar kits from Nhaler. Also, a five pack of cartos and two colored tips. From perusing the forums I found this thread and got hooked on the idea the Go Go is exactly what I'm looking for. It sounds like you are all very happy with it. I love the fact the cartos can hold so much juice and the batteries last so long between charges.

I will post what I think of it after I get to use it. After what I read here, I'm sure it will all be positive. Thanks folks!

I said I would post a review of the Go Go (ordered from Nhaler.com) after trying it for a couple of days and here it is. First impressions; I like the look of the Go Go. Classy all the way, especially with the white and black drip tip I got for it. Not to use as a drip tip, but so it's more comfortable to vape from. It is a well constructed device. Sturdy. I also like that it has some heft. Not too much, but just right.

I filled the carto using the side drip method. I would put juice in, let it sit awhile, then repeat. I used 2.5 ml of juice. There was leakage, but expected this from a new carto. It seems like once they've been throughly wetted the first time, leakage is usually not so much of an issue after that. I wasn't sure I was going to like having to push a button every time I wanted a vape after getting accustomed to auto batteries. Now I would never go back to using them. I love the control you have on how long you want a puff to last. Also no more worries about leaking juice shorting out your batteries.

My first puff almost knocked me on my ....! A huge cloud of vapor. The throat hit was tremendous. I mean, I actually felt it. It was like hitting an analog. Somebody posted on how a friend of theirs got dizzy. I did too. lol Woozy up the wazoo. Sadly, this did not last because I didn't charge the battery, so it died in about an hour. I plugged it in and waited impatiently for that red light to go green. I've been using the same battery for two days now and it's still going strong. This, my friends, is with heavy vaping. Also, I can taste the clove juice I like MUCH BETTER in the Go Go. I didn't know what I was missing. On a scale from 1 to 10, My wife and I give the Go Go and easy 10.

Two recommendations; I put a faucet O ring on the threads of the battery where the cone screws on. This stops any leakage from coming out of the cone and does not interfere with air flow. It also gives you a better grip to hold on to the device.

After doing a complete refill, don't stand the Go Go on its end until you've taken between 15 to 20 vapes. Lay it on its side until you do. This prevents leakage waste and instead, you get to vape it. After 15 to 20 vapes you can stand it on end with no problems.

Thank you to everybody in this thread who so highly praised the Go Go. You made my wife and I happy citizens of the Go Go Nation.

Great review Moon62! I've been enjoying the GoGo for about six months now without fail!

As far as filling the cartos, I prefer the "condom method", by using one of the condoms included on the carto and filling it to about 2/3 or so and slowly sinking the carto into the condom. I wait a minute and repeat one time and wait about five minutes then for it to all soak in. Then I remove the condom and there will be a few drops left, which I squeeze into the top. This usually does the trick, or if there is still some white showing on top, I'll add a couple of drops or so until it's soaked, or I see a drop or two leak out the bottom. I blow out the tube, and vape! Works great for me, but YMMV. :)

By the way, for replacement cartos, I don't want to be rude to nhaler, but there are at least two other vendors with their price about $4.00 cheaper per five-pack: Go-go Cartomizers (although he is currently out of the blank ones) and GO-GO Carto's - $8.95 : Cropduster901!, Home of the B-52. Just putting that out there. :)

Welcome to the GoGo Nation! Enjoy! :vapor:
