I started with 24mg and just bought a bunch of 18mg in hopes of cutting back. After about a week on no TH, I'm going to buy a bottle of the same flavor with 36mg and mix it with the 18 to pop it back up.
Eight months ago I started on 16 mg, within one month I started to DIY and decreased my mg each month till I reached 0 mg . For myself, I new I hadn't become addicted to cigs in one month so it stood to reason I wasn't going to get off them in a month either. As with the OP I found it to be too easy and kept waiting for the hammer to drop...it's been 2 months at 0mg now and no withdrawals. I have now come to the realization that the strongest addiction for me is the psychological one of the hand to mouth. I'm still carrying my PV around like a security blanket. Ideally I would like to quit all together and who knows maybe in another 8 months I will but if that doesn't happen I'm O.K. with it.
I realized for me that smoking was the ritual of hand to mouth. I mean, I know that nicotine played a part, I was a pack and a half PD smoker of camel light menthols, and I started at 12 mgs. I was down in 6-8mg range in a week. I do vape a lot, but again I think it is the ritual of it and now I can do it anywhere I want.
Suppose it could be mental but when I vape 12mg all day w/ powerful DC I feel overload.
I can vape CE2 at 12mg all day w/o feeling overload.
I am still at 36mg and have been since I quit analogs 3 1/2 months ago. Not even considering yet to decrease my nic intake. I am just so glad I quit. Congrats and good luck getting to 0 nic.
It's not mental. I vaped 24 mg for three months before getting my EMDCC's, got nic OD symptoms pretty quick, dropped to 18, still sick. Dropped to 12 and am at my happy place for now. Dual coil definately seems to get the nic to your system faster somehow. Anybody want to speculate what might be going on?
Just wondering if anyone thought about or tried this method:
Start off at the nic level for you to keep the cravings at bay.
after a week or more.. start adding 100% vg or pg to dilute the nic in your juice.
after another week, add more vg or pg
Haven't tried it myself but wondering if that would work. I'm guessing the flavor would become diluted as well as the nic (but hey, if you started off with a very strong flavor, maybe it won't be so bad?)
Everyone,
This is my first day going from 18mg to 12mg.
I must admit that honestly so far, his seems too easy. I'm almost suspicious that I got a bottle of 18 labeled 12. I'm still getting throat hit and I'm vaping maybe just a little more, hard to tell it's so early yet, but this is really easy!!
I don't want to tempt fate but after a week or two, I'm thinking of going to 6 or 8. If I have the higher nic laying around I may use it in an "emergency".
Unlike some others, my goal is to get to zero. I started at 36 mg almost two months ago but couldn't give up the analogs right away, that took a while. I've recently been on 24 and then 18. When I first started I would fiend these things hard but I feel I'm well past that. This is my first day on 12mg. and it just seems too easy.
Has this an easy transition for many of you?

I think the 24mg is too strong of a throat hit. I had another post asking about that peppery feeling in the back of my throat. So from a couple of replys I am dropping to 12mg's. I dont mind if I vape more to get my nicotine, I just want to make it enjoyable. Right now it's a little to much to bear... Anyone else experience this???
