I used to smoke 1.5 packs of analogs per day. In an effort to save money (not happy at spending $4/pk for crappy brand cigs), I began to make my own. Now, those not only tasted better, but brought my cost/pk down to less than $1 (plus the 90 minutes per carton it took me to make them). I smoked light brand cigarettes. My wife smoked about 1 pack/day of light menthols. I switched to e-cigs in an effort to help her stop her intake of nicotine (high blood pressure), while at the same time me keeping my nicotine intake at a fairly constant level (I have neurogenic bradycardia and need stimulants like caffeine and nicotine).

We both started with the 12mg levels and have been perfectly happy with the taste, the feeling but primarily with the knowledge that we are no longer taking in all the crap in burned tobacco. With wifey, she plans on slowly dropping down to 0mg or maybe the 6mg over the course of a few months. Since there is no "smoke smell" this should work well for her.

My only problem now is that the day before I switched to e-cigs (thanks a lot google search-ha ha), I had just purchased 3 pounds of tobacco for my DIY cigarette making system. After about 3 weeks of e-cigs I find that I truly dislike the taste of an analog, as does the wife (except with morning coffee). However, I have enough tobacco and supplies to produce about 12 cartons of analogs. My nephew and his wife will be getting this for an early Christmas present, while at the same time I've been telling them about the positive (and negative) experiences we have had with e-cigs.

I can honestly say I do not crave analogs and might smoke 3-5 per day, simply because I already had them made up before I went electronic. 12mg really seems to work fine for me on the health issue side as well as the taste/hit side.

Even when I was a heavy 2-3 pack a day smoker years ago, it was never really about the nic. All about the flavor of the cigarettes. Today I am an extremely light vaper (just a few times a day) and 6mg juice. Its a very individual thing. After smoking 3 packs a day for 20 years and quitting cold turkey, I can say I never had any symptoms of nicotine withdraw, didn't feel any different, no change in taste but I did miss them like hell.

LOL

I got 4 lbs of Tobacco and 25 cartons of tubes for my DIY CIG making in the mail this last Monday. It was the same day I went to the local e-cig shop and got my EGO-T. I need to find somebody who wants the tobacco since I haven't smoke a single analog since Monday

I started with 24mg and the first few day's I was vaping constantly. Yesterday I had to slow down since I started feeling a bit nic OD. I love vaping so much I am going to drop the nic level so I don't have to slow down :vapor:

I smoked 2+ packs of full flavor a day so I would bet everyone is a bit different with how well they absorb nic from e-cigs.

I started off with 11mg myself, but I'm thinking of going down to 6mg. This might a noob question but does lower mg affect the taste? Or is nicotine free the same taste as something with 36mg?
