Hi. I'm new to this forum and new to the vapor concept. I've smoked forever it seems. Tried the FiftyOne and I just can't seem to get what I need from it. I got it through some free offer so I don't know really what I received, but I do plan on sending it back quickly. I think it ended up being like a book club -- they automatically send and bill. I failed to read the fine print (which was no where in site) when I ordered.

Sooo. I have been reading and watching videos and it seems the Vapor4Life is a safe direction to go. As 2 1/2 pack of cigs a day smoker, what should I order? I want a tobacco taste, throat kick, and vapor. Really I guess what I want is as much to a real Marlboro Light cig experience as possible.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I really have to stop smoking and it feels as if I am losing my best friend. My lungs, however, are making it clear it is time to stop.

Thank you :)

I have seen the largest number of people quit with a 510. It puts out a great hit in all regards. The 201/801/pen style does a good job too, but the hit is different and the unit is larger - I definitely recommend a 510 as I am sure many others will too.

As for the marlboro taste, I have seen people go from marlboro ultralights or lights to the marlboro flavored dekang eliquid very successfully.

You might try 11, 14, or 18mg instead of 24mg (or higher) though. I think the higher content levels bring with them a good chance of turning one into an even greater nic-fiend. But if you're smoking that many packs, it might take fewer vapes of a higher nicotine liquid to get you there as well.

I hate the taste of tobacco (I smoked Menthols), so I can't help you out in the flavor dept. I would suggest getting a couple of different strengths when you order (like an 8mg, 18mg and 36 mg.) Vaping is different than smoking - the nicotine absorbtion rate is different. You should get a stronger throat kick with the higher strengths, but until you vape and have an idea of a strength that's right for you, I would suggets a little variety to make your experience as good as possible. Keep searching these forums - there are a lot of great people here, and I am sure someone can help you find what you are looking for. Good luck, and keep us posted!

In the v4l tobacco flavors, I like Mboro (now called Cowboy), Kamel, and Hilton. As mephisto said, get an assortment of strengths until you know what works for you.

I also recommend that you not put any pressure on yourself to quit the analogs. Sample the cartomizers for a while until you find the flavor & strength that works. If you're like many of us, you will find your smoking will be greatly reduced while doing this.

When you've found your "IT", you will know it's time to stop the analogs.

Great advice Pawpaw! Take it slow - get used to vaping while (hopefully) cutting down on your analogs until you find the right vape for you. The last thing you want to do is quit analogs and get discouraged and stressed-out with not being able to satisfy your cravings and nic requirement through vaping. Even cutting down some will give you some encouragement... ;)

I was a 3 pack a day marlboro medium smoker, I thought I only wanted marlboro flavor, luckily Steve new better. I ordered marlboro (cowboy 24mg) and never smoked a regular cigarette again. After a while I found the free ones V4L sent and WOW, I was wrong, the Coconut, the blueberry, all of them are great!! I started with the Marlboro and it worked. Try the cowboy 24 or 18 you should do fine.

By the way after all my research this was the best way to go for me too!!!

Yeah, and just wait until you get your sense of smell and taste back - you may want something flavored other than tobacco somewhere down the line...

Welcome! Many people find that they don't want the tobacco tastes. I found I could stop the smoking when I discovered cappuccino and coffee flavors. They are out now *pouts* but should get some in shortly. So definately give other flavors a try, you might surprise yourself! And ordering in different strengths is a good tip too - some find even the 18s too harsh! Me, I need a throat hit and it sounds like you do too. 18s are good without being overly harsh. You may want to order several small 5ml bottles of juice for refilling. Banana juice is killer, so be sure to order that! lol Most of all, don't be shy - if you have any questions be sure to ask away! We are a friendly helpful bunch here! ;)

I too have a Smoke51 and quit vaping only a couple days after I received this kit. I had battery issues, weak throat hit, etc etc... I am attempting to jump back into vaping and I ordered some juices from V4L earlier this week. I immediately noticed a difference in taste and vapor. I am thinking about ordering the Ultimate Ultimatum, but wanted to know if I will see a difference in taste and vapor by switching. Anyone's insight would be helpful.

I also started with the Smoke51 and quickly ordered a 510 which I like much better, I then ordered a 901 and prefer that. I disliked the burn taste I get frequently with the 510. I have the marlboro juice but don't really think it tastes like a marlboro, I haven't tried other tobacco flavors. Good luck in sending the Smoke51 back, I have been trying for a month to get an RMA number with no luck and they keep sending and billing for the cartridges. I have filled complaints with the BBB and Florida attorney general and am waiting responses from them. They have a very poor reputation.

Other than trying an SS Choice, I haven't tried anything other than my VK, but the cartos seem to vary somewhat in taste and vapor production. Vaping on a pass-through or a long battery seems to produce more vapor than the shorter batts, but I am in no way complaining - I am very happy with the VK, and I will never go back to an anolog! :D

If you can afford the cost, I would highly recommend the UU kit - it will have everything you need except more cartos or fluid, but you will always need (or want) more of those anyway..

I have never used the Smoke51, but I see it is a 3-piece pv.

I will say the vapor production is consistently better than the 3-piece units I have used. Under optimal conditions a 3-piece might beat it, but it takes a LOT of fiddling to get there.

All of my juices (from v4l & others) taste better in the VK. Sometimes the difference is amazing.

I have used the NJoy (801 clone), E9 (horrible 2-piece IMO), and 510. The VK beats them all.

I started with some pen style - I don't even know what model it was. Then went to the 510. Got me off the smokes, but I quickly tired of all the fiddling just to get a decent hit. I found I could only get a throat hit and taste if topped off the carts constantly, or dripped directly on the atty. Plus all the conflicting information on maintenence... boil in water, don't boil, soak in vodka, don't soak in anything - just do a dry burn, never dry burn, just pluck the fibers out, don't EVER pluck the fibers out, run under warm water then do a dry burn... yada yada yada!

In the 3 weeks I used the 510 I went through 2 attys. and got sick of carrying around all the stuff! Plus, I would have to pull over to top off carts on the way to work! What a pain.

Everyone is looking for something different, but if you are looking for ease of use and consistant taste and throat hit, then you have come to the right place. The VaporKing is the way to go! And you can't beat V4L for customer service - if something goes wrong they really take care of us! ;) Welcome, and if you have any questions just ask away.

still learning the different units pawpaw is the e9 like the magnum at e-puffer which IM STILL waiting on went ahead and got vk thru v4l and love it.on v4l is 24mg high and is 11mg medium i have these two i believe a 18mg is what i need dont remember if they had that mg though please help

I ordered the E9 from e-cig.com, but it's sold under several different names. The only one I'm sure about is Red Dragon. It was the RD reviews that convinced me to buy it. The E9 tasted (to me) like ... and no one was having any luck with refilling. I gave it to my daughter's SO. He liked it.

Yes v4l has 18mg strength in all flavors. If it doesn't show up on the site, it's because they're out. They use a real-time inventory system, so you should never run into a backorder situation. If they're not out of juice in that flavor & strength, you can order that and refill.
