I guess last years sucked so bad this years went unnoticed. I swore I wouldn't go but ocd might get the best of me. st. Charles is a real hike for me. I am older and semi disabled. it is hard to get there. maybe some one wants to just talk me out of it. or tell me if you are going. if pbusardo was there I guess I would go. I do want something but know it will be sold out again. I had all year to order from my chair anyways. funny thing was last two everyone was decades younger than me. is ecig like hipster stuff? I mean geezers puff too. I couldn't breath, everyone sold out if I could even get close. I hate to think I am too old. really though if I was like 35 id have no problem getting there anyways. so who's going?

Not sure I'll ever hit another big vape show

Went to Vape on the Bay. Although I got a bit of juice, I wasn't overly impressed: reminded me of a gun show, if all the vendors carried nothing but Glock and S&W Preformance center (so mostly same inexpensive stuff, with a few REALLY expensive toys)

*shrug*

Did notice the age thing there. Also noticed that people were completely oblivious to basic politeness

is pheasant run nicer than the hotel in Rosemont last year? they have ventilation? no fire alarms lol. st. Charles is a pita for me to go to. haven't been since a gun show like 7 years ago. interestingly people at gun shows tend to be very respectful. I went to Lombard a few weeks ago. those towns compared to where i live is a joke. closest place to me is a filling station 8 miles away all dirt roads. I was amazed at how built up a suburb can be. I don't know if I will dig the vape show but might be worth checking out st. Charles. that is a wealthy community right? i have no idea what this hotel is like. i am just worried i go home empty handed again. that is 7 hours for me. even if the kids are not polite i feel good being around others that do the same thing. in rural areas you can be ostracized for such unruly behavior.

if you guys think it won't be elbow to elbow I guess ill go. it is hard for me to get there but I will manage I guess. last year I couldn't even see what I wanted and when I finally did it was sold out. the music was too loud. I thought it was going to rain there was so much vapor. I hope this venue is more equipped to deal with this. the other thing is last year it was cash. I was really nervous with the amount of cash in my pockets. then I spend none. everyone seemed cool but that was a situation where an old man could easily get jumped in the parking lot. pay to park at Rosemont kind of blew it too. they didn't have to do that. ok so I am bashing the bash. the last one. hope this is better. pretty much everyone else said the last one sucked too.

Because you are not the only one to say that about the music, there is no DJ this year. Last year the hotel even tho they had hosted Bash for the other 2 years became real jerks with everyone, which is then part of why people got the attitude they did with vaping everywhere. While there will be a couple more vendors from last year, still won't be a ton and each is limited to a single table so they won't be taking up a ton of space.

Pheasant Run has gone above and beyond wanting to help make Bash awesome this year, they are already wanting WCVC will sign for next year as well.

I visited VapeBash 2015 for less time than it took me to drive there and back but I made an appearance and bought some new eliquid (may main reason for going). Although Rosemont is closer to me (I used to work in that area) the venue in Pheasant Run was better, primarily because we had a building to ourselves so as not to annoy non-vaping guests as we filled the room and hallways with vapor.

There was plenty of room in the venue, at least when I was there for the first 90 minutes after they opened on Saturday. There were some familiar vendors who had been there in years past and some new entrants. I was also glad to see that there were vendors with authentic devices although I didn't go to buy any hardware. Overall, I'm glad that I went and I think I'll continue to go in the future.

well I am I am kind of sad I did not go. oh well. as far as ventilation let's be realistic. the key here is that was not attached to the hotel. no ventilation can deal with that. is anyone going to tell me the air was completely clear? if it was designed for that yes. it would cost millions to evacuate that much vapor. it is much heavier than smoke. that is why it rains! same principle but the big guy in the sky makes it. I don't mind that I am just saying you cannot clear that easily. at least it does not harm anyone! regardless I would liked to have attended. I would not have stayed long and st. Charles was just too far for me. I am glad they provided more room this time and hopefully toned down the music. I am also glad anyone that did go had a good time. I hope they also took credit cards. a huge amount of cash on person is never a good idea anywhere. well it's one for the history books now.

i should have gone. 7 hour ride. mainly afraid of sold out. did they take credit cards? i was very nervous about the amount of cash i had. ironically everyone was sold out before i got there. rosemont really did not even bother me so much other than i went home empty handed riding round trip like 12.5 hours. i don't doubt the promoters yearned to better last year. was there plenty of merchandise available? the vapor is a non issue but i doubt it was completely clear? perfectly safe. that much smoke can become lethal. oh well. i am glad everyone had a good time.

I was on fence about going because it was an hour away from me - I would have never embarked on a 7 hour one-way drive. I only used cash this year (and didn't bring or spend much), but I saw that a lot of vendors had point-of-sale devices for use with their mobile devices and I had no problems using a credit card last year (other than leaving it at the show, although a kind vaper somehow tracked down my mobile number and called me after I realized that I had lost it and cancelled it). Perhaps some vendors had left by Saturday (I didn't see Empire Mods and I know that they left early and didn't attend the last day last year), but there seemed to be plenty of gear and liquid to be sold by the many vendor tables that I saw and visited.
