I wish I could help you, but I got a beta tester model that was the epitome of terrible. So I threw it across the room, lit it on fire, took a walrus-shaped dump on it, choked a giraffe with it and then buried it with my neighbor's harpoon gun while I was dressed like a Mariachi priest.

I would advise you do the same.

I absolutely love the Goliath V2. It's the best tank I've tried and it's the only tank I currently use, because it's that good.

However, UD didn't tell us how to correctly assemble it, and most youtube reviewers do it wrong.

Build coils and wick as normal. (It's very forgiving)
Put chimney on first! Tighten all the way.
Put retaining ring on (held in place with o-rings).
Now unscrew chimney until it is just starting to pull the retaining ring up from the base.
Align JC notches on the JC ring with the retaining ring (chimney may need a slight turn to help with alignment).
Assemble glass and top cap.

If you don't follow these steps, you may end up with a sticking juice control ring, stuck build deck, and dry hits.

One of the only 2 RTAs I will vape.

Do as jefx stated and wick like this.

I have notice higher coils make the vape dryer. Close to the air hole makes the vape moist.

A pic of an older build. I now do the same just the coils are higher.

I recieved one a few days ago and cant unscrew the filling assembly from the glass. Tight as hell, so I put it aside for now. Anyone else have same problem?
I had this problem with mine (beta model). Everyone I spoke to that got one early had this issue as well. As time went on, it went from being relatively difficult to unscrew, needing latex gloves, to totally impossible to unscrew without freezing it. Then It got to the point I had to take a vice to it, which ultimately destroyed it.

What I got from my own observation and the observations of other beta testers, was it was due to the o-ring at the base of the deck, if I recall correctly. I tried taking the o-ring off - voila! - No more issues!! However, by doing that, you lose juice control ability, as that o-ring on the base is necessary for it to function.

I don't know how much it has changed since the beta, but its release was delayed after we started reporting the issue, so I had hoped they fixed it (I wouldn't know, I'd have never purchased the final version knowing what I knew of the beta). My suggestion, if it continues to happen, return it ASAP if you can - because if it's like the beta was, it will only get worse with time.
