Shoulder surgery in the morning at 7:00 am. Torn rotator cuff , torn labrum and got to have a muscle cut and repinned to the bone. Wish me luck. Not looking forward to this. Cape on.

I wonder if you showed up a surgery wearing a superman cape for no reason if it would phase the nurses and doctors. Act normal but right before you go to the room ask if any of the equipment uses kryptonite.
I vape in the hospital! Hopefully you will be able to as well. Good luck with the recovery! Be nice to the nurses 
I am right behind you with the 4th surgery on my knee, and NONE of them have been with those wimpy little arthroscopic deals, 2 of them used the full 5 inch incision! This one we are hoping they can just do arthroscopically but they don't know if they can get through all the scar tissue.

I'll see your four knee surgeries and raise you four abdominal surgeries. My stomach looks like a tic tac toe board. But at least if I have to go back again, I'll be able to vape instead of suffering from nic withdrawal.
And I agree with the "be nice to the nurses" advice. My nurses have been so good to me each and every time I've been in the hospital. A toast to them-
