Welcome, WileECoyote :) I think you'll be happy with the Grand...I too, have both and if I had to choose one, it would be the Grand. Truth be told, I use the VVG all day, everyday...and it works perfectly, but i know having that chip is the weak link. Its great that I can tune to taste with it, but it is a function that I hardly ever use. I have it set and almost never change the voltage...and I use the RM2 that I can tweak as well. (had it out on the property today and was terrified of dropping it in the water ...record rain falls...should have taken the Grand.)

I broke rule. My shipping address on my Pay Pal did no match my order shipping address. It was all jacked up. I wrote support very quickly... Sheeeesh

Don't worry too much about the shipping address. For some reason I can't set different billing and shipping addresses on paypal, yet I always get my deliveries at work as I specified on reosmods, no problems. And then I think I'll never need to buy anything else from Rob. But of course I keep buying more. Good to go with a Reo Grand first! Rob mentioned working on an alternative to the vv grands that supports a Kick 2 by Evolv. So that could be in your future as well if you want some battery regulation. But it's totally not necessary.

I was gonna say get the VV. It kicks AYuss. :) But grands are a great choice too. I have several and 1 VV.

I know LT says were all like mr Rogers, but he forgot that I'm that freak out in the burbs that plays loud metal from the open garage on quiet Saturdays, rides dirtbikes up and down the block and my kids bully the smaller kids.

Stop by sometime :) and welcome :)

... But, what would I do with two RGs?? lol

Congratulations and welcome! To answer your question, BACKUPs. Afterall, you need something to vape on while you're rebuilding an RM2, right? Besides, more often than not, most folks spend the wait period deciding on what color to get for their next REO, often ordering a 2nd before the 1st arrives. I should mention that the black wrinkle looks really nice when you trade doors with the hammertone...Just sayin' :)

Still waiting... Arggh. Rob is awesome by the way. I have emailed like 5 times with various questions. Must get a bunch of emails from anxious customers. I guess that tells you alot about the product... :D

Only bad thing, is I can't be here tomorrow to sign so I will have to go to the post office and pick the hostage up the next day along with my batteries and charger they are holding hostage for me.

Now I have to keep myself from ordering another one while I wait the extra day...

...... Totally my fault. See post #39. ... all the same... I have to big the biggest PITA ever.

Your item was returned to the sender on March 10, 2014 at 11:50 am in WASHINGTON, DC 20020 because of an incomplete address.

Oh, man!! By the time you get that REO in your hands, you will have EARNED it! Sorry for the set-back. One of our members ordered one and it never came, and it never came, so he ordered a second one. The first one got there AFTER the second one. Ha. But I think that was shipped somewhere overseas. This is painful I know.
