I've been into vaping for about 3 months now and I'm slowing fading away from cigarettes. At first I was able to, about 2 weeks straight, but now with my new job and not be able to smoke very often my PV (KGO RIVA) isn't cutting it for my analog feel cravings. I love the KGO btw and I use 1.7ohm resurrectors with it. It is amazing in my opinion but anymore I prefer it more for an at home vape while I'm looking into buying a good 510 mini cig for my job. At first I was looking at 808's but I decided that there's no point in experimenting and trying to find a good carto for me with an 808 threading. I now that LR will shorten the battery life a bit with mini cigs and I don't plan on using the resurrectors with it. I was more thinking about boge 2.0, unless you guys feel that it wouldn't hurt to use my ressurectors. I'm really not that big of a fan of boges but it would be my 2nd carto choice if it wasn't for the ressurectors. Anywho, I'm curious to find out about good setups and any of your opinions are greatly appreciated. If at all possible I would like to get a stainless battery around 3.7v, i'd like it to be small (around 180mah or higher but no longer than 65mm) and I've also seen some 808's that have a grey tip and an orange light that I thought looked pretty cool. Thanks to all for your help!

You're really not going to be able to use LR cartos on the mini battery. That's the problem. There's another thread going about this. I use the boge 3.0. I don't know if they even make 2.5 cartos anymore. If they do, I haven't seen them. Ikenvape used to carry them.

I don't recommend this at all but I have used a LR cartos on the mini battery - only because I dumped a box of LR and SR cartos in a container then realized that I couldn't tell them apart. It didn't kill my battery, but the battery won't last long. I probably shouldn't mention this, because it's not recommended, but I lived to tell about it.

You really can't use low resistance on a KR808 either. How about the smaller KGO battery? I think they make a 650 or 750. That's not really big.

How about this?
THE SD KEY RING E-CIG BY TROG (510 threaded)

Even a tiny box mod. I have a janty stick that's 1" wide x 2 1/2" long. I can hide that in the palm of my hand.

The fact is, there ARE no good 510 minis. You're hunting unicorns here.
The SD keyring is good but it's not a cig style. There are plenty of small 510s, but not cig-style.
If there was a 510 as good as the Volt 808, we'd probably be recommending it. It sure wouldn't be a secret around here.
Anything tiny is not going to be able to contain a battery capable of surviving 1.7ohms for very long.
You will need a minimum of 450mah and the smallest battery in that class would probably be a 600-900mah 14500 lithium, which is the size of a AA battery.

If you try to use a 1.7 or 2ohm carto on a 180mah 510 mini, you are either going to trash your battery, get 45 minutes of run time, or both.

You can still get Boge 2.5ohms. I saw them at either Madvapes or ecigCharleston just the other day.

If you want to use a 510 carto with a Volt or other 808 mini cig, a 808/510 adapter costs about $3.

To the OP, I'd really wait until you were 100% off cigs before you got something small.

I can use a mini now. Heck I've gone out all day without my pv, and I was a heavy smoker. If you have something small and you need a dozen batteries, or SR cartos don't give you the vape you like, you just might pick up a cig.

I don't think there is much point in answering without asking a question first.
Mostly because what you are looking to do is confusing me.
:)

If you have a KGO, what exactly about it is not cutting it at work?

Because looking to go with a mini-cig is going backwards for most of the definitions of "cutting it" that I am aware of.
But you might have a specific and different definition, which we would need to understand in order to help.

what i mean by not cutting it is that while i'm at work a crave cigarettes, not as in the taste but as in the habit. my kgo is nothing like smoking a cigarette and that's what i am lacking. I want a good auto battery, about 65mm long with a carto that will work well with it. I smoke kool menthol cigs and i want to get away from cigs all together for my kids. any advice on some ejuice that will ressemble some kool cigs would be nice too lol. but for the most part i just want to vape something that gives me the feeling that i am actually smoking for when i get the cravings.

Then what you want is a Smokeless Image Volt.

You can also get any of the following, as they are the same product...
--Bloog MaxxFusion
--Halo G6
--Smoov

The reason most people recommend the Volt is that it is cheaper.
And they also offer the X2 battery upgrade, should you decide you want that option.

Good luck!

Vaping will never be like smoking, even with the best and most expensive APVs available. At some point you must decide to suck it up and quit the cigarettes.

Believe me, it took me longer to make the transition from smoking to vaping than most. Almost five months. I smoked 1.5 packs a day of Camel Blue 99s. This was a 35-year olds habit. I started by replacing 15 of those 30 cigarettes I smoked a day with vaping. Then I reduced the number of cigarettes I smoked one by one from there. It took me forever to give up those last 2-3 cigarettes per day. Hey, it worked for me. Several attempts at quitting cold turkey over the years didn't.

The week after I gave up those last three cigarettes per day for vaping exclusively were the worst. It wasn't easy for me, unlike some others report.

I think I really like the SD Keyring - but certainly not as my main vape. It is surprisingly powerful for such a small device, and works great for a sneaky stealth vape at work or someplace. I will admit sheepishly that I've been using it with LR Boges (which you should not do, I guess) and it performed well. It's a really cool thing to have around your keychain and for the price you can't ask for more. Just make sure you don't even sniff the included prefilled cartos - straight to the bin, really.

Just throwing it out there - TALKING ABOUT THE MADVAPES GRIPPER - YouTube . Maybe worth it, I don't know - something to consider...

Other than that, you cannot really replace your all day PV with a small e-cig style unit.
