I'm going to try the DIY thing, as I find I'm often mixing up my purchased flavors as it is. I tend to like "Ice" based flavors and then I'll mix in fruits. Right now, the most common Ice flavor I use is Arctic Wolf. So the first DIY recipe I'd like to get down is a good "Ice" mixture. Does anyone know any recipe that would meet that need?

Thanks.

Arctic Wolf is pretty violent stuff! lol I'm experimenting now, as the only flavors that I can vape consistently have been various menthols and mints. I have FA Menthol Arctic (or Arctic Menthol depending on where you get it), Capellas Cool Mint, FW Extreme Ice, FW Candy Cane, and some crystals. I really like the Arctic Menthol at around 20% all on it's own, but it doesn't peel your skin off like Arctic Wolf does :) I've also tried the Extreme Ice mixed with a little of the Cool Mint, and it's pretty good, too. I think it's pretty hard to get a bad mint/menthol. The Extreme Ice is a wintergreen/menthol, so I don't know about mixing it with fruits. The Cool Mint would probably do pretty well if you add a crystal or two to the batch....good luck!

I like to see the Ohio guys helping each other. I am waiting for my stuff from WL to start DIY and I want to nail a good menthol also not a wintergreen or spearmint I dont like those to much just a plain menthol. Once I can do that I will branch off to other things but I want to make sure I have something I like to vape first.

A good strong menthol base can qualify as "ice".

Make your own menthol concentrate: Add menthol crystals to a 15 or 30ml glass bottle, packed until 1/2 full. Add PG until full, then heat in microwave (with top off) in 5-second increment until hot, shaking between heats, and crystal will completely dissolve. Use glass measuring tools only when mixing with concentrates.

For the previous heavy menthol smokers I mix for, they like 5 to 7% menthol concentrate and TPA Koolada at 2 to 3%, and 1% TPA spearmint optional. Mixes well with fruits and tobacco flavors. Koolada provides the ice-cold throat hit. A touch of wintergreen flavor can also enhance cool perception.

Note: A few people have slight temporary sinus irritation from Koolada if used heavily.

Thanks all for the suggestions. Just got in a starter kit, nic base, and a bunch of flavors. Looking forward to coming up with my new fav, just for me. I've ordered some of the arctic menthol and a glass bottle to mix my menthol crystals in (that came with the kit). Thanks for a option there that doesn't require everclear as we can't get that here in the state of prohibition (aka Ohio).
