Yep...was from my first license plate. Was a custom plate, and when i got it (keep in mind I was 17, and about as cutesy girly as its possible to get) I picked it because i thought it sounded cute and sassy 'Oh, Rachel! (wink!)'. When i started tooling around UCLA campus, my friends would see me coming and do this whole drawn out woebegone moan 'Oooh, Rachel! (as in, What have you gone and gotten yourself into NOW??)'. It turned into a running joke ala 'Norm!' greeting on Cheers. And thus a screenname for the last few decades was born. lol

Deborahsu I second what Orachel said. I loved all the flavors that I tried so far. I realize I'm a new VV convert so the flavors I have tried so far are very limited, but I did order a sample pack plus 2 other flavors and of those 5 flavors I didn't taste one that made me scream YUCK! I loved them all and I would like to order large bottles of all of them very soon to keep in my juice stash. I'm going now to place an order for some large bottles because the rest of my juices just don't taste the same anymore. I think that as long as you have ordered flavors of things that you like, then you don't have anything to be nervous about.

Also I'm quickly learning that I call OH Rachel a lot these days lol You know, like Oh Rachel what's your take on CE2's? Or Oh Rachel, what drip tips fit these things? She's very wise :)

I just love this group everyone here is SO helpful and supportive! I don't think I would have made it through my latest crisis without such supportive people to help me out.

Oh speaking of....Orachel, what's a good flavor to try next? I have the new Sweet Tea in my sample pack and some Kir Royale, I was thinking of trying out the Mango Mint Julep that I have been reading about. Of course big bottle of Maple French Toast...check. lol I've never tried any flavors with natural mint in them before so I'm not sure if that's something I will like or not. Any suggestions?

Have you ever chewed a mint leaf? I can't imagine anyone not liking this.. its just a really crisp clean flavor. If you ever like minty gums or candies, this is just way way better. The mango has a little bit of tartness to it, like real fresh fruit. Its just awesome, really my favorite juice ever. Reminds me a lot of refreshing sun tea w mint leaves.

As for the new tea flavor...I LOVE the sweet tea, its a very unique flavor. Its like um...sort of a floral herbal tea. Really relaxing and just mellow. Reminds me of orange blossoms... doesn't taste orangey at all, but that floral taste of the blossoms themselves. Really an amazing unique flavor.

I wouldn't say Kir Royale is one of my personal very faves, but its not bad at all. Its a pretty bold taste, and A lot of people really love it. I'm just not a huge one for champagne vapes, I think. It reminded me of something very specific. You know those old fashioned Luden's throat lozenges in the wild cherry flavor? Not talking about mentholated cough drops (theres no menthol flavor at all to em)... but those cherry lozenges... that's what the kir royale reminded me of. I used to eat those things by the box. ;) So if you like that flavor, you'd love Kir Royale.

A few others on my very fave list...don't remember what you've tried in the past... are the Blueberry Cheesecake (I credit this with making me lose 7 lbs, I swear! rofl It tastes so much more authentically 'cheesecakey' than any other flavor I've tried w cheescake in it. Sooo good!) and the Sweet Summer Lemonade (just like one of those fresh lemon shakes with the half fresh squeezed lemon and sugar with ice at fair), and the Buttercream Mint (exactly like those tiny melt in your mouth pastel buttermints that they have at some nice restaurants?) which is super mellow and totally relaxing.

I'd say any of those would be awesome options... Oh, and we can't forget Vanilla Blackberry Swirl. That's one of the sweeter flavors I've tried of annette's, but i love that the bite of blackberry seeds sort of stop it from being too sweet and just make it perfect!

Good afternoon! I can tell you too Deborahsu that I have yet to get a VV juice I don't like. I have tried quite a few too! Now my absolute favorites I can't be with out are Cherry Vanilla Swirl, Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and her Sweet Tea that I got a sample of and as soon as it hit the website last night I ordered a 1 oz. bottle. I do also love her Vanilla Blackberry Swirl but keep forgetting to order a 1 oz. bottle of it. This juice is the best I have ever tried and used. So good!!!

Annette makes the best juice, flat out, no contest. I can say this since I've tried just about all the most popular juices out there. Nothing beats that clean and natural taste of her mixes. I ordered some recently from some place else that was so highly recommended to me. All I can taste is sickening sweet sucralose and artificial flavorings. I have to admit at first I didn't appreciate the organics for what they are and was on the fence about using them, but after 6 months and the clearing of my taste buds I can't vape any other juice and enjoy it the way I do VV juice.

Oh, I am right there with you on the sucralose and artificial yuck! My gosh, it's horrible! lol I recently HAD (i say had because I wasnt really willing to do it!) to get some other juices with artificial stuff to experiment with vaping at high voltages. Most organic stuff just doesn't hold up flavor against 5.5 or 6v. So I looked for recommendations, hunted around, and I KNEW that these wouldn't be that tasty after experiencing VV juices, so I ordered a BUNCH of samples, thinking surely a few of these will be ok to be my high voltage vape. Well, so far, I'm 16 samples in, and there's not a single one I even want to put in a carto, let alone get a larger bottle of. Its just all so fakey fakey sweet and chemically, and tastes nothing like the flavor its supposed to be. What a letdown! rofl Gave me horrible flashbacks of what the first year and a half of my vape-life was like before Tyleris-12 sent me over here! I mean, really. If I want to taste chemicals, I'll go lick the windex bottle or something and save myself the money! rofl So now I'm sitting on these samples of really yucky stuff, and still don't know what the heck to do about high voltage vaping. I wish I could find just one flavor that was palatable, at least. Can't believe theres not a vendor doing artificial flavors who offers truvia instead of sucralose, at least! Aw, well... live and learn.

To be sure, windex is what it tastes like, especially some of the so called Tropical treats. But, for 5-6 volt there are a few organics that will hold up. The Vanilla Mint tastes incredible at 5V, even 6. Not sure about any others, haven't tried them all yet. But I do the Mints at 5-6V in a 3.0 Boge all the time. The bakery and most non citrus fruits are better at 3.7V I think. It's not that important to me to do HV as long as I have a good LR carto and some great juice I'm happy at 3.7 - 4.2 for the most part.

Omg, seriously??? Ok, Vanilla Mint, and if you remember what other ones work, I'll be thrilled!!! Thank you so much! and you know what's crazy. Just placed order yesterday, and I was so wanting to add vanilla mint and mint tingle, so I could make 'angel pillows' along with my buttercream, but I didn't because I was trying to be financially responsible. rofl Man, wished I'd have tracked you down before I made the epic money wasting order. And I'm with you on the high voltage. I want to be able to do it sometimes to satisfy cravings that creep up, but the organic juices are the #1 reason I decided to get a vv tube mod instead of a 5 or 6v fixed voltage pv. I just wasn't willing to give up my Virgin Vapor. ;)

I'd think Peppermint Chill might work also, anything that is straight up Mint without creams and such. The BCMint is too complex and does better at 3.7 -4.2. Mint Tingle is very strong to me, I don't get extra flavor with that one.

I luuurrve the mint tingle with extra flavor! rofl I'm happy vaping intense stuff, but that's me. So you think the mint tingle would work high also? Dadnabit. Just finished my sampler, so I can't test the theory. Aw well. Next pay its big Vanilla mint and mint tingle for me! Thanks so much, Joan!

Orachel, do you have a VV mod? I'm getting a Provari asap so I can tinker around with finding just the perfect spot for the different juices. I do have a VV box mod and that's what I use for HV. It's really subjective though, what I might like at 5-6V someone else wouldn't. But those juices are good at lower voltage also so if they don't work for you at HV you will still have some great Mints on hand. A lot depends on the carto also. I tank for HV so the carto is nice and wet at all times. I think that makes a big difference.

Lucky you, Larkfour! I have several bottles sitting on my desk from a couple of different places ... and they give me a sore throat ... ugh. How many days is this analog-free for you? Or did you smoke one in between that I haven't heard about? If you did, that's okay of course--every single one you DON'T smoke is a victory!

I made it four full 24 hour cycles and then decided to have a ciggie at 3:00 a.m. and then one today at 3:00 p.m.
I don't mind that I "chose" to have these ciggies. My initial planned (two ciggies a day) quit date was for after the Holidays.
Very glad I gutted out those 4 days, just to prove to myself it was possible to do. Now I would like to be a tad bit more comfortable. :)

rofl... Larkfour, I had a buddy at my fave digital art site, DeviantScrap, who did a whole digital piece about my name, only the whole concept was Oracle, as opposed to orachel. I don't remember the exacts of it, but it was very wild and eastern with ancient divining devices. Pretty funny. I never realized how similar the two were before that. ;)

And Joanr... I do have a VV Box mod. I was thinking about getting a high v fixed voltage mod, like a GLV2 or an Empire, and some people here and in mod forum wouldn't hear of it. Insisted I try VV before i spent a bunch of money on something not variable. So I listened to them and I LOVE IT! So now I know my 'big' mod purchase needs to be VV. Love the idea of the Provari or Darwin, but my budget runs more toward Lava Tube (aka 'POORvari' lol), or possibly BuzzPro or Infinity. I'm crossing fingers that when the silver Lava Tubes come out, I like the looks of them a little more than the black ones. Black ones aren't really doing it for me, but I love the options and durability and price. So I'm trying to figure out my 'sweet spot' for vaping now, but it definitely varies with the juice and carto, so I love the VV option. Oh another thing, that might help you figure out exactly what works for specific juices (if you're not getting your provari right away) is a 510 connector voltage meter... lemme see if I have a photo of one here... IMG_20111130_164745.jpg
It screws into VV box, and the carto screws on right on top of it. That way, even though it might be a few mos before I can afford my big mod, I can figure out exactly what voltage works best for each juice since when you draw on it, the dig readout shows you exactly what you're vaping at. Nice, since that little twisty voltage wheel isn't exactly exact. They're about $15 at vendors, or I think username Para makes and sells them. Para/Doug is the great guy who sold me my mod and the meter. Looks rather wild and scifi, too.

So, plan is to wait a few mos so budget doesn't crack, but I'm going to my local vaping xmas get together mid month, so hoping I can try a few (including provari) and see what all the fuss is about, and if its worth waiting even longer to get the pricier one. ;)
