Orachel - Nope, I've never chewed on a mint leaf before, but I do LOVE fresh mango. I am going to see about trying your recommendations on the next big order that I am planning. I just placed a very small order for one lonely bottle that I just ran out of and am missing terribly. I was trying to stick it out and wait so I could place it all at once, but I caved. lol I should be able to place my monthly big order in a few days though. I'm hoping to get it in way before the cutoff time.

Larkfour - That's awesome! I'm so happy for you. It's infinitely better knowing that you control the addiction and not the other way around :)

I made it four full 24 hour cycles and then decided to have a ciggie at 3:00 a.m. and then one today at 3:00 p.m.
I don't mind that I "chose" to have these ciggies. My initial planned (two ciggies a day) quit date was for after the Holidays.
Very glad I gutted out those 4 days, just to prove to myself it was possible to do. Now I would like to be a tad bit more comfortable. :)
Larkfour, I still had a few ciggies a week for my first year of vaping. I was so happy that it was just an occasional treat that it really didn't bother me. Over time, they started tasting nastier and nastier compared to all the yummy flavors I was vaping and then, about a year ago, I just stopped altogether. I'll still have one every once in a great while if I'm having a really difficult day or if I'm really tipsy at a party, but not only do I not miss them anymore, I hardly ever even think about it! Give yourself the time. You'll love vaping so much you'll just forget all about it before you know it! Don't put pressure on yourself! You're doing great!

And Joanr... I do have a VV Box mod. I was thinking about getting a high v fixed voltage mod, like a GLV2 or an Empire, and some people here and in mod forum wouldn't hear of it.

There will soon be another option to VV and that will be VW as per the Darwin but this little device called the "Kick" will fit into many tube mods and turn them into VW mods. I would then get a Precise+ 18500 + the Kick as it will sense your carto's resistance and deliver the watts needed for the desired voltage to the carto, or something like that...lol Pretty technical stuff but it's gonna be another option. For now the Provari Satin + batteries is gonna run about 180.00 or so depending on options and that is steep for many of us. The kick module will run about 40 - 50 bucks.

Well, that's cheaper than I thought, JoanR, but still close to $100 more than the whole lava tube kit. Crossing fingers that some kind soul at this get together has a provari and a lava tube that I can try out and see if its worth the extra wait.

And Serenity..that's exactly what yesterday was for me... a 'cave in' and grab more essentials order. Lol There were 3 other large bottles i needed, but was trying to be good. ;)

And larkfour...18??? rofl Thats a riot! You'll have juices coming out of your ears! Well, actually, if you got just a bunch of samplers that would probably be a great way to test all the ones you're dying to try. It would be a fabulous fest of flavors, though, and at least then you'd know exactly what you love and can't live without. Sounds like an awesome xmas present to yourself as a reward for doing so well in spite of cravings. When I was quitting, distraction was key, so having a ton of fab flavors around is a great distraction, for sure! At least your way is vape flavors. Mine was snickers bars and avocados, and lemme tell you.. my hips still haven't recovered. ;) Hang in there! You're doing terrific!

I think they're 3ml? So 20x3ml is 60ml? Thats about a months worth of juice for most people, for sure! I've heard that most people vape 1.5-3ml per day or 2 to 3 ounces per month. That gives you an idea. I think i'm a very heavy vaper, so guessing i'm more like 4 or so, but I'm home all day, so that makes sense. ;) You know, i just looked again, and they look bigger than my 3ml bottles..so maybe they are 4. Annette would know for sure.

I read somewhere around here that they are 1/8 oz, which puts them roughly at around 4.7 ml (providing that I read correctly).

My husband gets on my case because he says I vape too much. I totally need to show him this thread so that I can say SEE I'm not the only one. He's one of those people that smoked for 18 years and then one year just after New Year's day he set his pack of cigarettes down and never touched them again. I asked him how he did it and he told me, "Well, I just decided I was done with them." Oh now that's helpful advice - lol

My heavens you guys have been busy this weekend. I did make my trip to see my grandchildren and am currently on cloud nine. I got to see my little Ella take her first crawling steps and spent some great time with Jack as he excavated precious gemstones from a solid brick of sand (it was a mess, but we put paper down and he had a blast) I am so blessed with my family and having now discovered these fabulous juices... can't do better than that:)

Forgot about the samplers now being all 12 mg. Need to add those 24mgs. BYB:
Just Cut my bangs, they are a little crooked and short but should grow enough to be able to straighten them out before Christmas photos. And the root touch up - I'll leave that until after the New Year, everyone knows my natural hair color anyway. This will save me an appointment at the salon thus a Lot of dollars which can now be applied to vaping expenditure. Yay.

Ordered one stocking stuffer so far: Bluberry Cheesecake, Christmas Stolen, Cream Caramel, Darjeeling Sweet Tea, Grammas Pumpkin Pie, Hot Buttered Rum, Night Blooming Jasmine, Root Beer, Vanilla Blackberry, Vanilla Peach and Wintergreen.
24mg. ( thanks for the reminder Rootwacker) Mango Mint Julep

Mornin, VVBorg! :)

I got vape mail Saturday. Drunken Pirate Pudding, Eggnog and a sampler of Pecan Pie (thank you, Annette!). All three are five star juices in their own unique way, but the Drunken Pirate Pudding blew me away. I vaped it ALL weekend. It is very strong of rum and very sweet with raisins and a dash of spice. When I wanted to tone it down just a bit, I mixed some with the Precious Pecan Pie and got a milder but just as delicious taste...sort of like Mincemeat Pirate Pie :)

The Eggnog is good, but I wish for a little more nutmeg and more eggy flavor. It's good, but those two things would make me even happier :)

Off to order more Precious Pecan Pie...

Mornin VVers. We got 6 inches of snow overnight and have a severe cold warning down here. The good news is that school is closed down here so my children have a snow day and I have a snow day. The bad news is that I also work at the college so I won't get my paycheck today either and my liquid order will have to wait until tomorrow. Bummer.

lol... yeah, I can see how that advice would be helpful (not so much!) to the old willpower. Is there something specific that bothers him about your vaping? I've run into issues with people saying the same, and I just tell em that its safe, makes me happy, ensures I stay off the cigs (I'm close to two years quit.... longest I ever stayed quit with old methods like cold turkey was a year) after an 18 year habit, and its not hurting anyone. Plus, makes my house smell awesome! Lets see...

*You could tell him its a beneficial thing because just think of all the money you're saving on scented candles! Or..um...well, its less silly than some 'manly' pasttimes.

*You're not painting your face in wacky colors, donning gigantic foam finger, and screaming incessantly at large men in tights plowing into each other on the TV screen! ;)...football fanatics

*You're not wearing a fez and getting together with other like minded wackadoodles to do archaic rituals and have bingo nights...shriners

*You're not spending thousands of dollars a year to belong to a club where you wander around attacking grass at random intervals wearing short pants and a funny hat....golfers

That's all i've got...maybe somebody else will come up with some more intelligent responses. ;)

You know, back when I was able to work and had a good income, I'd never have considered this just cause I was a salon girl all the way... but now that I'm watching pennies, the 'Clairol Root Touch Up' from drug store is SURPRISINGLY effective! Plus, when you go back to the salon it'll be time for all over color, anyway. They have all sorts of colors designed to make your roots fade into whatever color you've got going on. I think its about $8?
