Actually, that's what my niece was wearing..hot pink too! She has been lost to the princess culture...sigh...
She actually told me that the reason why she "had" to be a princess was because that was the only way she could marry a prince! I asked her what would happen if someone married a man who wasn't a prince. At first she looked quite puzzled and then replied, "Why would anyone want to do that?".

Good Morning All! It's a beautiful, sunshiny but COLD morning here! I refuse to put socks on though. Even now, at my age, my mom (over the phone) just lectured me re the dangers of going barefoot below 60 degrees. Apparently, I am going to catch my death of cold! Maybe I'll get me some of those fleece lined Crocs!

Accidentally mixed some Kona Velvet with Vanilla Blackberry...not bad...not bad at all...

Today is all about making the stuffing for the turkey and baking pies!

Pumpkin of course! It's Thanksgiving up here!!
I do have a new, untried recipe using baked butternut squash instead of the pumpkin. I might try both....I have a batch of pie crust dough in the freezer and I'm not sure if it's still okay. I've never tried to make, freeze and bake with it before.
I love pies!!! (hmmm...I sound a little excited this morning)

Pumpkin pie is my favorite food. I think I'll ask for a special flavor from Annette with my next order. Just hearing about your pie makes me want some! I've tried the butternut alternative. I found it lacking the truth if you know what I mean. I'm curious to know how it turns out for you.

Good Morning VVer's!! Kitty, I have pics of Bella on my phone, but don't know how to load them on here from the phone...I'll be taking my camera there later today tho.

Sorry for being MIA lately, but my daughter had to have emergency surgery Friday night for internal bleeding and I was at the hospital all night again on Friday and by the time I got home on Saturday, I had been up over 31 hrs., so it was all I could do just to climb in bed. Daughter pulled thru great tho and is doing sooooo much bettter now, thankfully!! Little Bella is also doing great and hopefully they will both get to go home on Tuesday! So I am off to get all my shopping done that I should have done yesterday...plus have to get a bunch of baby stuff. I hope everyone has a great day.....

Good morning and happy Sunday! I'm going to a wedding this afternoon!!! Both bride and groom are very long time friends and there will be lots and lots of other long time friends there too as they're expecting about 300 people! I'm taking Kitty's advice and bringing a hankie with me--there's sure to be some happy tears, LOL!

Ty, I'm so glad your daughter pulled through. Big hugs and wishing you, your daughter and her new baby much happiness and joy!

I got the Halloween batteries - they are very cool and nicely made. Annette threw in a sample of PBB which I have become very fond of - thanks Annette! One of my new favorites is the Coconut Breeze mixed with some Swiss Almond - pretty yummy!

Wow Ty..what a roller coaster of a week you had.. I'm so glad everyone is okay now.

There was FROST on the car windows this morning!!! Ugh! But I'm happy to say I am still sock free!

water4...Swiss Almond and Coconut Breeze is one of my favourites now too!!It's soo delicious!! I also love it with a touch of lime. You should try it with your Key Lime Pie..I bet it would be very good....Aahh...Key Lime Pie is one I have yet to try. So many juices.....

Hope you had a great time at the wedding Annette. What a happy way to spend a day. Even if you did have to use the hanky!

Good evening everyone...boy the weekend sure got away from me. The Bon Jovi concert Friday night was a blast. It was a little chilly, but was dressed for the occasion and really enjoyed the evening with my sister. I was sooooooo lazy yesterday it isn't even funny...but a day I need to recharge.
LouP..my mil used to make sweet potato pie at Thanksgiving.... I don't know how many years we were married before I realized it wasn't pumpkin pie....I miss her and her cooking...
Hubby was gone this weekend..so I'm making a nice dinner for his return...I actually do miss him when he's gone Everyone have a great evening...
