Woo hoo, so glad I took today off, too!
We had a wonderful time at dad's yesterday. Of course 10 wk old Kathryn was the center of attention, everyone coaxing smiles out of her.
Stepmom saved me the hambone as usual, so that will be for White Bean and Kale soup.

Annette, my white chocolate raspberry sample is gone. I sure hope it's slated for the website soon. So good!

Hey guys...hope everyone is doing well. Sorry I haven't been around much. Had a very difficult day today..entire day and evening spent with visitations and funeral. We lost two very special people in our lives recently. We survived..hubby and I make a pretty good team. We both need a good night's sleep and know the sun will come out tomorrow and life will move on. Hopefully I'll be around a little more..it's just been a rough few days.

I have not tried to run any kind of distance since I destroyed my right knee 8 years ago in a ski accident. My personal trainer daughter and I have been working to get the limp out of my running gait, with short distances, until this weekend.
I did 2 minutes walking, 1 minute running (9.0 pace) with the last 15 seconds of each run at sprint speed for 3.1 miles! Felt great the first two miles and then it got hard and my breathing got oh so raggedy but NO limping.
I have a long way to go to be able to run the entire 3.1 miles without any walking but I am on my way!
