Dang, y'all, I feel sort of bad for sitting here fuh-reeezing at 33 degrees. We're down into the teens tonight but that probably sounds downright balmy to you! OK, gotta go stand on the heat register to warm up my feet. 
Oh RedHen, I feel awful for your animals, too...I hope they're all okay!

It was around four here this morning and yes 33 degrees sounds pretty good!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are a huggy bunch, aren't we?! It makes me feel good!
Guys....it's only January....it's supposed to be cold!
The big, old cherry tree outside my window hosted a party of sorts this morning. There were nine squirrels, three black and six gray, sitting on two branches across from each other. They were engaged in an animated conversation about something. I tossed a few peanuts down for them...in case there was some sort of food crisis....they all stopped and turned as one, stared at me for a moment, then went back to whatever they were talking about. It must be something serious because the peanuts still lie where they landed! Hmmm....

The crocuses outside my back door have bloomed, and the daffodils are up. The buds are still tightly closed, but sometimes it's hard around here to tell the difference between January and spring. Just Sunday before last it was in the low 70s!

Any VVers have a Vision Spinner? As part of my job research, I have ordered one and it will probably be here today. I have to do field research and compare it to the Twist. I'll check out the Spinner thread in the larger forum, just thought I would ask. For research.
Not too impressed with the Vision Spinner so far. It's burning all my juice, even at the lowest voltage. Maybe I was just having a bad night, will try again later.

I like the Vision clearos. I have to add some cotton for extra wick but it's a handy to go to and it's not bad on juice.

I haven't tried any Visions but the extra cotton is a great idea. It works in the Vivi Novas too. I use cheesecloth.
Kitty...maybe the settings are opposite on the Spinner? Just a thought....
I am loving this cold!! It is the absolute safest time of the year to go for a late night walk in the city. I love the loud squeaks my boots make on the snow. I'll take a dry cold like this over a damp cold when the temp is closer to zero any day! That kind of cold goes right into your bones. This just freezes your nose!
I think maybe Annette has gone up to the space station to deliver some delicious juice to the astronauts. Or maybe they're conducting secret experiments on vaping in zero gravity.
(I only jest because Kitty has assured us that Annette is well.)
Oh and Annette? If you did head up to the space station, I bet you're rockin' your spacesuit!
