Good ol' cigarette smokers - help!

Hello,
I'll be honest, I joined this forum because I needed to find smokers for my research project.
I am a postgraduate student, doing a project on the association between carbohydrate intake, mood and smoking behaviour in current smokers. My aim is to obtain at least 100 cigarette smokers for my study, and I'm having trouble finding smokers. I come here hoping that a few people here are still smoking cigarettes even if they're giving e-cigarettes a try.
All I need is for them to spare 15-20 minutes and fill in my online survey, by clicking on the link below. You need to be a smoker living in the UK and still smoke 10 cigarettes/day. Also, it would be great if you could pass on the online link to any other smokers you might know that are not on the forum.
If you’re NOT a smoker, I would be grateful if you could pass it on to people that you know are smokers living in the UK.

You won't find very many smokers here, and probably very few indeed that smoke as many stinky analogues as you are looking for. We use personal vaporisors to stay away from the things.

According to online surveys I've seen, of the kinds of people who would frequent this forum, 70% are completely tobacco free, about 25% still use tobacco occasionally out of necessity, and about 5% use it every day, usually cutting the frequency down over time.

vaping (not smoking!) would seem to have a very high success rate indeed when second generation PV devices are used freely. We are all trying to tell everybody this, and get vaping accepted by the community in general as a significant advance in tobacco harm reduction.

If you changed your research project to one that investigated how vapers use PVs as a smoking cessation tool, then you'd get a lot more takers here. Most of us have converted or will convert, or have given brochures to any smokers we come across. Watch this page.

You might Googling " Smokers Forums" for a much better result. The members here at ECF have either quit smoking or have cut back.
