How much was the Provari in the store? Typically store vendors don't stand to make much money on a Provari sale as they are usually one of the more pricey mods they carry, so they keep the profit margin low just to make any kind of sale on them.

I have a friend with a B&M and she sells a LOT of Provaris - but she only makes $9 each on them.

Well... I ordered it Wednesday or Thursday night last week and it arrived today (FAST)! I'll admit, I had to bring it to one of our local b & m's to figure out the tank and airflow thingamajig (thanks for that advice...i would have been miserable without it). I'm in love with vaping all over again!!! Thanks for all of your advice and warm welcomes!

From my experience the cheaper vv (variable voltage) or vw (variable wattage) devices last a couple months tops. So it's really more than a $50 investment anyway. I've had my provari for about 3 yrs now and still going strong! There is some bad news though! The provari itself may be a stepping stone. I personally have moved away from vv and vw devices and into the world of mechanicals and rebuildables. The collector sickness can be a bad one. Any ?s just PM me.

Thank you for offering help. I may have to take you up on that in the near future! It's funny you say that it may be another stepping stone. The guy that helped me out today said he sees me heading toward rebuildables. I kind of chuckled and shook my head because I will probably end up there. But.... for now I'm very excited! :)

Speaking as someone who has played the " starter variable " game...skip it.

I started vaping 5 weeks ago with the EVOD starter kit. Lasted 2 weeks on that before I wasted money by stepping up to a spinner VV. Used that for a week ( it's now my back up ) and bought a MVP 2. Which I should have bought instead of the spinner.

Happy with my MVP now.

Don't let the salesman at the B&M con you into wasting money you don't need to waste.

If the Provari is on your radar and you have the funds...pull the trigger.

From everything I've read about it you can't go wrong. And the money you would have wasted on the " starter VV " can be spent on juice

No problem. I love talking about this ..... Lol!!! And I wouldn't skip the provari or VV stage either. It's an important introduction to ohms law and basic electronics. Understanding ohms law is a prerequisite to getting into mechanicals and rebuildables. Unless ya don't care about blowing your lower jaw off. In that case shoot the moon! No seriously ya can't go wrong with the provari and if you have any questions about rebuildables or ohms law or whatever hit me up. Even if ya think it's a dumb question. I'm one of those we were all where you are now kinda guys and don't mind teaching in the least bit.
