Hi there,
This is my first post but I've been reading for awhile. I bought a Provari Mini a couple of weeks ago and overall I'm happy with it. I've only been vaping for about 3 weeks so I'm pretty new to this. I started with Blu Cigs but really couldn't deal with the batteries running out so often... I also don't really like any of their e-juice flavors...

Anyways, I've got a few frustrations with my whole setup and I'm hoping someone can guide me to a better solution. First of all, I'm using cartomizers, but not sure how long they are suppose to last? That is, how many times can you refill them before they are no good? It seems to me that the older they get, the more often I have to refill. Also, and this is a big problem, e-juice keeps dripping out of the tip so I find myself having to wipe the tip off after every vape. What is the best accessory to solve this?

Lastly, I want to get a tank so I don't have to refill so often... which tank is best for the Provari Mini? I was looking at the DCT Cartomizer Tank on the Provape website (510 DCT Cartomizer Tank - Small) but someone left a comment saying the metal tip makes the vape cold... Any experience with these?

My main thing is that I don't want spend a lot of time tinkering with this stuff.. I just want it to work :) I fear that if I can't figure out a way to get an easy setup that doesn't require a lot of my time, I'll just go back to smoking simply to forgo the hassle of it all! Maybe that sounds silly, but this has really been a lot of work.

Thanks for any tips and I really appreciate all the great information you all have provided me already.

This is what sits on my Provari most of the time.

    From left to right
    sealed 510-510 adapter
    good 2.5-3ohm atomizer
    Empiremods drip shield
    drip tip

If I'm not direct dripping I will be using a Vision Vivi Nova with a 3.2ohm head on it.

Hey userloser, we've both been vaping for about the same amount of time and we're both relative noobies, so take what I say with a grain of salt. FYI, I started with a basic eGo and moved on to a Provari (the regular sized one). I've used cartridges, cartomizers and now I'm using Vivi Novas.

I've found them to be an excellent tank system and provide great flavor and they are extremely easy to use. They are relatively inexpensive, they are easy to clean and they have replaceable heads that cost around 3 bucks each (that you can rebuild if you want to). I also like that I can easily rotate them so you can switch flavors with no hassle.

It looks to me like the Provari Mini is just a shorter version of the Provari so I'm assuming that the diameter is the same. If that is the case, the Vivi Nova will be a better fit. The Mini Vivi Nova also works well but it has a smaller diameter and you will need to refill more often.

    Good luck!

Best thing I ever put on mine was a Vision Vivi Nova 2.5. Comes with two attys and you can get a metal tank for those juices that melt stuff. LOL
I have 3 Vivi's 1 non Vision mini and a Vision Full size and mini. I love the amount of vapor I get out of them. You can also rebuild the attys if you feel like it.

I got my vivi's from Got vapes. If you get them elsewhere check to make sure they are the vision or if you go with a non vision vivi know that the attys are not interchangeable.

Get a Phiniac or other Pyrex tank (dont have to worry about juices clouding the tank and leeching) and some Smoktek single coil 1.7Ohm pre-punched cartos and you'll never look back. I have a stainless steel drip tip that I use to insert the carto into the tank (saves the o-rings) but prefer to vape out of plastic tips because they warm to room temperature.

Hope that helps and good luck

My everyday carry. It's the most hassle free, imho. Top off at night, change the carto on the weekends/when they taste bad. When I get home, then I'd use other stuff I've laying around on my desk.

PS: Metal drip tips transfer heat if you're chain vaping/using it alot. The drip tip gets a little warm, but never uncomfortable.

If your interested in a carto/tank system you might want to check these out.
IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us!
Their Pyrex tanks and you can get acrilic or stainless steel caps. The pyrex will let you use any juice you want. You can also get a complete tank minus carto for about $20.00. These are the tanks that got me started on the carto/tank. CS is really good with them also.

I'll second the IBTanked - Get Tanked With Us! You can't beat these for a high quality, low cost pyrex tank for $20 each. I have 5 of these for my Provari, the slim versions of these tanks are perfect for the tapered top of the Provaris. And because of the pyrex, they are immune to the cracking and melting of certain flavors. Standard length tubes take a standard 35mm carto; XL length tubes take an XL 45mm lenth carto. Below are the first three I got:

IBTanked on a Silver Bullet, Provari, and BB. Acrylic endcaps on the IBTanked slim tanks.

I've got a few of the Smoktech Titan tanks, which are clones of the Vivi Novas. They are easy to fill and make plenty of vapor, but they can not hold a candle to a cartotank as far as flavor.

    What drip tip/tank is this?
