Good update on my S.I.L

No change in his condition of course but he's in very good spirits. Daughter and grand-daughters are doing well. The Dr.'s are amazed at how well he recovered from the surgery of 2 days ago. They are getting conficting stories now about how long he'll be in a re-hab. facility. They have a great deal of faith and strength.

Yes he is 5c. We talked to rescue and pretty much figured out what happened. He notched the tree and was walking back to get his skidder when he heard the crack. He knew the tree was going to come down and his intention was to get to his skidder and dive under it. He tripped and the tree fell on him. He somehow freed himself and got to his skidder and phone. The phone had no bars but the call to my daughter went thru.

I have followed this and I know you have no clue who I am but I am sorry for your familial stress. MY FIL had one drop on him but he was far luckier, just a bad concussion and few minor bumps and scrapes from a tree rupturing in two as he was harvesting the dead ones on his property......my thoughts are with you and yours........
