I have over 500 posts, with no warnings and I am pretty free with what I say. It's very simple, don't use foul language, don't fight with other members or make personal, insulting comments to another member and don't try to sell e-cigs or e-juice here, without registering as a supplier. Just use your common sense and if you do slip up, you will get a warning, not an immediate ban.

I am not privy to any information about your friend, but I am sure there was more to it than what he told you. Stick around Darrigaaz, no one is waiting to ban you or anyone else for that matter.

Angus, can I have my "instigator" status now?? :D

Although I'm rather new here the past week has been ridiculous! I agree we all need a little sunshine! It's been a long winter, I've been cooped in the past 5 days with snow as well as others here. Just keep telling myself spring is around the corner! Happy vaping out there and try not to forget why we all came to ECF to begin with.

At the risk of being seriously flamed, here's my 2 cents. I Agree with Angus and Jerry. There are always 2 sides to the story. While I will admit that there may be a few dozen too many mods, (read chiefs), in the ECF I think they are pretty fair about their warnings. And it was (supposedly), only a 3 day).

I've seen and read the comments from some of the people who have bailed from the ECF due to what they call unfair treatment. BUT based on their comments on other forums they would rather not have any rules at all. I've participated in forums without many rules before. I bailed, not because I was warned, but becuase after a while you get tired of all the nastiness and infighting and SPAM.

There must, (should), be rules. I prefer there be rules even if some people feel they are unevenly enforced at times.

A bit of drama over a little three day suspension... and not for what he claims.

Or do people honestly believe he got banned for offering cookies?

I guess this old "forum nazi" will go find more people with baked goods to smack with the ban hammer...

Yeah, you go ahead and point that gun at me while I'm making chocolate chip cookies. Well let me tell ya something buddy, you ain't getting any! Phhhhtt !!

Absolutely, leeshor. I considered joining other forums, until I read some of the posts. I didn't like the language especially. Call me old fashioned, but I find it crude to be using the "f-bomb" all of the time, for no reason at all.

Some people want complete freedom to say whatever they want, that's their prerogative, but I will stay with ECF and the few rules that we have here.

In my opinion this is JUST a forum..go take a walk, read a book, listen to some rock and roll and live some real life.
We went through all this a few months ago because some people decided it "Wasn't fair". It was hurtful and disruptive for those of us who just want to enjoy the forum and have some fun with friends.
Winter will end, spring will come.
Dari and Taryn, please reconcider and stay onboard. You both would be missed!
