Another one of my off topics but Doc Watson was one of the best guitarists in the world. Can't enjoy a good evening GG vape without listening to good music so I guess maybe its not that off topic

Anyway, his wake just finished at 9pm tonight and his funeral is tomorrow. I've got more favorites on the other side now than on over here.

Thanks Doc

Good point Dir. True music lovers recognize the value and connection of all music and how it affects other genres. I hated rap and still do, but recognize that its an art form that has its roots back to Robert Zimmerman (Dylan) and his "spoken ballads" which in turn, root back to Woody Guthrie and before that. Still hate rap but at least I'm tolerant of it now.

Here's Doc with Pete Seeger. I guess its a fitting piece considering that Doc graduated into ultimate reality a few days ago and now walks amongst the greats like Woody, Pete, Johnny, Janis, Jimmy, Merle and a host of others that helped us all through the tough times in our lives.

I apologize in advance for the off topic but feel I'm amongst friends during this difficult time
