One of the great mysteries of tobacco eliquids---particularly NET-based tobacco blends---is the issue of steeping. The general knee-jerk consensus among NET aficionados seems to be that more steeping is better, but alas, such a black-and-white rule is not always true. It hasn't been for me, anyway.
I think it's probably safe to say that many (even perhaps most) NETs benefit from prolonged steeping---the longer, the better. But, depending on both the particular juice and the individual palate of the vaper, sometimes fresh out of the mailbox is best. Certain wines are better consumed fresh---like a fruity beaujolais. Same with juices. QuickNic ouR whY qu4tro---an NET-based RY4---totally blew me away when I first got it. It was superb. After steeping, however, the magic faded and the thrill was gone. As if someone had replaced my extraordinary and delicious juice with an ordinary and not-nearly-so-delicious look-a-like. It became a mere shadow of its fomer self. Patriot may be like that for you.
No one can reliably and dependably tell us how long a given juice should steep to maximize its yumminess. Too many uncontrolled variables exist. We're on our own here, with trial-and-error, and the occasional disappointment when a juice doesn't come around as we hoped or actually loses pizazz after steeping. But that's why it's good policy to test vape everything right out of the mail rather than assume that it shouldn't be touched for a month.
