Feels kinda like I can't see the trees for the forest! (I know the saying goes the other way, but with so much information, opinion and options, I feel a bit overwhelmed by the whole thing!)
Like most other people who are interested in vaping, I've been doing research until my head is spinning! It seems the more information I have, the more I feel like I don't have. So, I think I just need a little hand holding or mentoring or push in the right direction. Right now I'm at approx 1/2 pad, full flavored menthol (pall mall darks). Sometimes a few more sometimes a few less. Anyway,, I've been looking at the different options and reading as much as I can and I think (maybe?) I might have an idea. I keep reading about individuals who start with one product and fairly quickly switch to another and then another. I know that's a natural progression. But I've sort of developed the mind frame that maybe I should start with something that can change with me. Like one of those variable volt styles. Since I'm not sure what's going to work for me, would a variable volt give me choices regarding the hit or is it more a juice or carto/atty thing?
I did call a vape store (no brick and mortars near me) and the person I spoke to had a different idea for what would work for me. He said variables don't work for newbies (apparently we burn them out?) and then suggested an imist 650 kit. He felt I needed a low resistance (1.5) dual coil cartomizer and a 5v output battery. I'm not knocking his opinion or his merchandise, (ok, so I'm not crazy about the flat mouth piece, but he was very nice and sounded like he knew what he was talking about!) I just still feel a bit lost.
Thoughts please?
