Goodprophets vs Onestopdiyshop nic and flavors.

So new to the DIY world, I ordered a starter kit from the diy shop. Got it in and could not mix anything worth vaping, I got the LorAnn strawberry (6 bottles :( no fun) I tried for several days to mix them, and all tasted... well lets say bad. Quite bad. Then I decided to try some flavorart flavors. Used the same basic idea (20% flavor, 80% juice) and man! They are great! I love them. Mixed up some peach next, and wow. Great again! Then I saw a sale on goodprophets for some nic base, got it in and it is completely different. The diyshop is a clear liquid, no smell. But the goodprophets is well, interesting. Its is a dark yellow color, has a odor. Not a pleasant odor either. So, basic question is, is the goodprophets nic base bad? It says it was made in aug of this year. I ordered some base from both places, no nic, and both are clear and no odor. Just the nic base is different. Any ideas? Only problem is now I have 240 mil @ 36% nic that I dont want to use. And 30 mil @ 48% that I love. Also anyone have any good luck with LorAnn's flavor? So far I struck out with Strawberry and Rootbeer. But all the Flavorart ones are great and mix up well. Hmmm. A few questions in this post. lol. And now its turning into alot longer then I wanted. Lol.

Nic is normally amber in color. When you find a clear one with no odor, it is because chemicals are added. Think brown vs white bleached coffe filters. So a comparison is not exactly fair. If your the type that like it clear and isnt overly paranoid, go with OSDS. If your the type that goes green, likes organics and avoids chemical additives, go GP....

Taste is subjective, so only you can answer that preference ;)

I dont care for LA's as a rule. FA os just "OK" to me. I REALLY like TPA.
And if you dont want that GP, I would put it to good use :)

I have not tasted the gp stuff yet, just the odor of it kinda puts me off. I picked it up at a good deal so I was looking forward to it. Like 9.99 a bottle (120 mil @ 36mg) vs the diyshop for like $12 a bottle (30mil @ 48mg) I am not going to get anymore of the LA flavor stuff, but I think I need to try capella now. I do have a bottle of TPA rootbeer I will try out tonight. Hmm. Lol. Like a kid in a candy store.

Clear nic that stays clear is a total no-go in my book. I ordered some and didn't realize it had been ... uh ... chemically enhanced to stay water-clear ad infinitum and let me tell you, NOTHING I did with that stuff was worth vaping.

I won't say where I got it because I don't want to malign a supplier in an out-of-the-way corner of a forum where they have no capacity to respond; and furthermore that supplier has since stopped chemicalizing their nic so it is a moot complaint.

Either way, the crystal clear stuff is BLECH! Other than that, I have no strong feelings about it.

If you want a good HIGH quality nicotine that is consitently HIGH quality go Extreme Vaping. Levi has all of his nic professionally tested.....

Welcome to XtremeVaping.com

As for the discoloration and odor....the more that nicotine is exposed to the air, the more oxidation occurs...the more it oxidizes, the more it will have an odor.

now with this said, I personally have not had any major issues with anyone I have bought nic from....say for one time and it was rectified. The supplier got a lower quality nic than was ordered and didn't realize till some had already been shipped out....it did get replaced;)
