Just have him use an RDA with silica wick. A nice harsh dry hit is a good indicator for a stopping point

I hope the mech isn't for him. Based on what you've told us so far he wouldn't know much about battery safety either.

Or add to his stress. Quitting smoking is very stressful and putting conditions on it, like a date to stop vaping or a date to lower one's nicotine level can make it worse. What would happen if the alarm goes off and he is still craving a cigarette? How long before he could vape again?

The Aspire Nautilus and the HyperTank both hold 5ml. There is also one that holds 7ml, but I can't remember what it's called.

Then why the alarm? When he gets too much nic in his system he will feel it. He might also consider trying WTA (Whole Tobacco Alkaloids). Some people find that helps fend off cravings when regular juice doesn't.

I just reread you original post. It isn't clear to me if he is concerned that he is vaping too much or you are concerned about him.

I still have a habit of chain vaping when I'm stressed out. Since I have been around awhile, I have a bunch of mods. I like to change flavors throughout the day. I vape fairly low as it is, 6mg. But one tank has 2mg. When I am stressed, I vape that - as much as I want to, without the side effects.
the end of it well that would be when he finally passes out and goes to bed.. I mean he's not awake 24 hrs a day..just tell him if he chain smokes he going to die..if he chain vapes nothing will happen..I been chain vaping 24 mg for 3 yrs now and I'm still here not breathing through a machine (do it in my sleep) tell your friend VAPE ON!! be happy...peace
I don't know of any 30ml tanks. But I figure that would break him of needing to vape until it was gone
My biggest tanks are 3ml, that's a day for me. Plenty in that range for all different experience levels.
I'm not into mechs.
I like my Kraken clone but I had to modify it to get it to that point. Drill out the wick hole. Drill out the fill hole to take a RSST plug. Plug the dual air hole (it would leak condensation when set down, the other things were to fix leaking out of the tank and get it to not short as bad when making a new wick and coil).
If he has a watch with a timer on it, tell him to set the timer for 5-10 minutes. When it goes off, time to quit for a while. Honestly though, if he isn't making himself sick, it isn't really an issue.
You just described me!!! Wow I am having the same problem I usually take smoke breaks at work. Have a cig and back to work. Once I started vaping I noticed my breaks were taking 15-20 minutes used to be about 5-7. I try to time it but just don't care and figure a few more minutes won't hurt kinda like the snooze button. I like the idea of the grail 306 should hold enough for a good break and that's it. I'm gonna order one in the morning.
You should tell your friend that it doesn't work that way , on the first month the quitting smoker must vape as much as he wants to and not limit himself , otherwise the craving for tobacco smokes will drive him nuts until he buys 1
I've been wanting to make my own gennies, the glass for the tank has been an issue. This thread got me to realize I can cut apart a liquid bottle. 30ml tank (or close to it), here I come (probably go with more like 10ml from a 15ml bottle).
