Well I have been vaping for about a week and a half now. And I have vaped just about everywhere, at work, at bars, at stores, etc... and never have once had a negative encounter nor have I been harassed by anyone. I am never obnoxious about it, like I don't blow clouds of vapor at people's faces or anything, but I never hide it either because I am afraid if I try to be discreet about it people will think that I am smoking drugs or something illegal which is why I am being discreet (maybe I overevaluate things lol I dunno). but anyway the only one annoying thing is that people always ask "oh can I get a light off you". I usually just say "no its electric sorry" and they give me a weird look. anyone else have this happen to them frequently?

I have had 2 people ask if I have a spare cig. People don't really "see" what's in front of them alot of times. They were both surprised when I said "No, it's a vaporizor, I don't smoke cigarettes anymore."
Ive had someone see the vapor and ask me "You got weed?" lol. He gave me a blank stare when i told him it was an electronic cigarette.
I work in a truck stop, and one day I was out front with the cook, happily vaping away, while he sucked down a camel. About two minutes later, the cook had gone off to take out the trash and this old truck driver lady walked out and said "Can I bum a light?" I politely said "I don't have one, this is electronic."
She proceeded to yell at me and get in my face about how I shouldn't pretend to smoke, either I should smoke, or don't. That was the only time I've had anything other than bewilderment about it.

LMAO wow that's crazy but funny. You got to watch out for those truck drivers lol.
Amen to that. I get to deal with probably 20-30 of them a day at work....I'm a waiter, you see.
Most of them have more opinions than politicians, and are more than happy to inflict them on anyone and everyone willing to pause near them for more time than absolutely necessary.

LOL yeah I'm a Bartender so I deal with the same type of people only they arent truck drivers, just drunk!
Next time you get asked for a light, tell them its an electronic cigarette and hand them a business card to your favorite e-cig supplier. I am out of my favorite ones already. The next time I order I am going to ask for a bunch of their business cards. I wish someone would have handed me one a year or two ago.
Only problem with that is that I'm still trying to find my favorite supplier. There are quite a few (Almost too many) choices for liquids, but the PV market seems to be designed around small cylinders or little boxes...unless you are willing to break the bank.

She was like 60 years old... and looked like she'd been smoking for most of them. So...take that as you will.
