Hey guys pretty satisfied with my Ego. This is my first E cig and i was wondering how you go about dripping? Is there a video someone can send a link to? I saw one video where the guy cut off the tip of his cart..... i dont know why he did that. I am not very satisfied with the TH...Is it probably because I am using the standard Carts that are prefilled that came with the Ego? One last question for now, does the blinking light mean that you need to stop vaping, like a warning that it is getting too hot? Im just trying to get more vape because in the video reviews i see they are puffin out way more smoke. Thanks!

You just drip a couple of drops directly onto the atty and the blinking lite is telling you your battery is dead.
Also available are "drip tips", the one you saw was just the guy making his own drip tip.

To help you out a little. The blinking light on the man battery means it is going dead and needs to be re-charged. Does not mean it is over-heating...
As far as juice, vapor, and TH, what I do is take out the filler in the cart, put about 10-12 drops of juice in the empty cart. Then put the filler back in, hold the cart upside-down for about 5-10 seconds to allow the juice in the cart to saturate the filler. Finally, I top off the cart with a few drops till the filler is really wet....
For me that is what works the best....(Of course, you can try using empty tea bags as a filler also, but that is another issue....

Best of luck with your eGo. You may never know how smart of a purchase that eGo is for a first PV. I only WISH I started with it. It's very satisfying to see the newbies learn from the dinosaurs' mistakes though. =)

Once the atty is wet, just drip 2 drips(I have tried up to 5 and any more than two usually floods the atty on a 510) and vape away. I can get 7-9 monster hits off of it, or 12-13 "normal" puffs. And I am using a driptip, makes like much easier and quicker.
Worth every penny in my opinion. I used to burn a lot of carts and when you trim carts they don't seem to hold on as well to the atty. I love my supert delrin drip tip and plan on ordering a couple more.
Good choice on the ego, btw. I can kill a standard batt in under an hour.
My eGo blinks at me when I hold it down too long also. If it starts blinking at you, and then doesn't light up anymore, it's dead. If it keeps working, then you just held it down too long, and yes, you can break your atty if you hold the button down too long. I love my eGo, I can make it 2 days between recharges normally.
+1 for drip tips. I started off using rubber pen grips, but they were wearing out too fast and they leaked everywhere. The drip tips have an o-ring that seals it and prevents it from leaking. I got mine from super t manufacturing, they only charge $1.25 for shipping.
Hi espplayer7. On your 510 juice cartridge, pop off the cap (small hole at the end you vape through) with a paperclip, then remove the other inner cap with the small hole. You can now use the cartridge as a drip tip. Just drop a few drops down the sides of the capless cartridge and you can vape away.
Remember long slow draws, holding the vapor in your mouth until you are comfortable, then inhale. In the videos they are not inhaling, just holding in their mouth then exhaling (most of the time) to show the largest amount of vapor.

thanks a bunch for the info so far guys. Is there a video on the making a drip tip with a paper clip like you mentioned? Also wondering what the difference is between dripping straight onto the atty or to drip into the cartridge... thanks
I don't think there is a video for modifying a paperclip but here's the general idea.
Find yourself a paperclip, not a real small one preferably. Bend out and straighten a section of it, then bend the the last 1/8" to about 45 degrees. You might do this with some pliers. You now have your first tool for vaping.
After making the tool, put the bent end into the hole (either one - inner or outer cap for 510 cartridges) and work around in a circular motion until it (the caps) works its way out. You now have a drip tip. Basically it keeps your lips away from the hot atomizer and is no different than from dripping onto the bridge of the atty. It just flows down the side air slots instead. Hope this helps.

+1 for getting a drip tip! they're much easier to drip with since you don't have to constantly take off your empty cart, and since most have a contoured shape, they're more comfortable too. while you're at it, try a low-resistance atomizer! i guarantee you'll love the combo on your eGo.
