I got my eGo-T yesterday, I love it, however; I am totally new to vaping that I need all the help I can get. I do have several questions and hope I can get answered because I have look all over for them. Any other suggestions or advice are also welcome. So here goes:

Is the cracking noise normal when you use the E-cig?
Do I need to turn off the E-cig before charging it?
If I accidentally exhale with the E-cig in my mouth, will it mess it up?
When I'm not using my E-cig, should it be standing up or lying down horizontally?

Thanks!

Well first, welcome to ECF, wildcatgirl! Now, yes, the crackling noise is normal. No, you do not need to turn it off before connecting it to the charger. If you accidentally blow back into the e-cig, it might cause a bit of juice to flood into the connection to the battery. No big deal, but I would avoid doing it. Try to keep it standing up for long periods such as overnight, but laying it down on it's side will not hurt it.

Good luck, and again welcome!

Glad I could help answer other's questions by asking these. LOL! Also, thank you all for answering my questions! I was so concerned that if I laid my ego down I would mess it up, but glad to know that it won't be messed up. I can see how someone can spend a lot of money on supplies for ecigs. All the ejuices out there and battery colors can definitely break the bank if your not careful. I was so tempted to buy more ejuices when I got my ecig the other day, but I don't know where I would put them when not using, also I can only vape one flavor at a time so I will just use what I have now. I really love my ego, I think it was so worth the money I payed for it.

The coil gets gunked up and doesn't work very well. Wicking won't matter if the coil is so caked that the juice can't come in contact with it. Try another atomizer and see that fixes it. Rip apart a dead atomizer and have a look at it. You'll be amazed at the buildup on the coil. I've never tried re-coiling an ego-c, but if you're into that there are a lot of tanks you can do it on.

Here's a cheap & easy e-cig stand that I built. The stand is wood from a Crafts store and I super glued 3/4" PVC to it. Got the Pipe from Menards (or any Hardware Store)
