Got My First Bad Headache... LOL

Hi everyone...

I just had to say this and even laugh at myself a little...

I got my first real headache last night so I now know the effects of too much... LOL

It is funny because I know my body. I have low end sugar problems so if I don't eat
enough or right, or if I don't get the right amount of sugar, I get dizzy, nauseated and
a headache.

That wasn't the case though because I had eaten earlier in the day. So, when it happened,
I thought maybe if I drink a Pepsi and eat some candy, I will be ok... Nope! - didn't help.

So I ate dinner -- 2 plates -- still had the headache so I got to thinking.

I had gotten an 306LR and some 24mg in the mail and was trying that out...
I Debridged/Dewicked the 306LR and was puffing away like the Orange Blossom Special.
That is some Righteous Vapor Equipment let me tell you!
When I blew out the vapor, it was like the fog rolled in off the bay!

I was amazed at the fullness of the flavor
I was loving it up..... and then in just a couple hours... BAM! (no, Chef Emeril Lagasse
was not on TV)

That is the most vapor I have had yet and at that level of 24mg, I thought I over did it
a little.

After I stopped using it for a few hours my headache started going away so I didn't use
any until this morning. I have been vaping at my normal rate today and don't have the
headache.

I can still do it with 24, only time I use it anymore is for the stressful times and right away it doesnt take long to remember why I dropped down a little for all day vaping lol.

Been there done that and am still doing it right now. Head is gonna split open. Need more water. Need sleep. GOT TO vape.......... It's been one of those days. 24mg will cure the nic fit and bring on the nic sic. Oh well. Least I can feel it and that's better than not feeling at all.

I here you. Listen to your body . I've been on anywhere from 24-36 mg/ml for a year and a half + and finally starting to mix in some 18mg/ml due to having trouble sleeping. Never had any headaches but I did get a little nausea a few times . Oh and got hiccups big time when I first started dripping and the juice stayed in the drip tip . I got a mouthful of juice and violent hiccups. Thats my nic od story.

The Njoy King disposable. First thing I ever vaped on. It's nic content is way too high.

it happens to many I had a head ache for days,,,,,not sure if I was vaping too much or just coming off 4000+ poisons I had been smoking for 30 years,,,,,,,could have been both,,,,I went down on nic and haven't had any problems since.

Glad to hear you're better. Are the headaches caused by nicotine, dehydration or both?

Curious how you're stomach felt, when I get too much nic I've get upset stomach and super jitters which is when I slow down and/or switch to 18mg.

the best thing to do when you get one of those headaches is drink some water the pg and vg dries you out causing a lack of h2o in the body my biology teacher in collage smokes e cigs and he warned me of it haven't hade one yet but I drink a lot of water any ways.

Dehydration screws with your taste buds too .

isn't that true I've hade one e liquid taste like some kind of metal after drinking some water and relaxing a bit I retried it and it was actually a pleasant taste.

I had that metallic taste real bad for a day and a half, had a little bleeding gum to help it along. I have an area where the gum is receded some (the bleeding area) on a crown and the interaction with that metal really boosted it.

Bugger me , is that what causes it!!! U may have just saved me from buying alot of different juices, i thought i was just over the flavors, same ....ty taste with everything i tried

I've had withdraw headaches, but never the opposite.

I have vaped myself into a nicotine buzz though. Feeling slightly light headed and a little tipsy.

I got a nic headache once trying a bunch of new flavors I got all at one time. I use to vape at 18mg, but now 12mg is just fine.

Nope, no stomach problems... although one of them has been giving me a little heart burn, like
I would get with a menthol cig but no menthol in these... and no nervousness.

I am not really sure what the pains were/are being caused by... I am going to do a little testing
to find out exactly.

What I can say is:
1) I started with 18mg but that wasn't satisfying the nic cravings like cigarettes were.
2) Switched to 24mg and I have been using 24mg for a month without issue. I always use the
Vision 2.0/3.0 Clearomizers and I use about 1 and 1/2 full a day (give or take a drop or two).
I also rinse between flavors unless the next flavor is pretty close the last:
e.g., Peach then Peach Tobacco, Full Flavor Tobacco then Fire Cured Tobacco, etc.)
Then I will just toss it in on top and mix in the carto.
3) I always drink plenty of water while vaping - I used to hardly ever drink water and mostly
drank Pepsi all day but I already knew that Pepsi (and other sodas) contributes to dehydration.
4) This is the very first I have had a headache and I am not sure if it is the DK Tobacco or the
Fire Cured Virginia Tobacco.
5) It does not happen with the Peach Tobacco, Straight Peach, Full Flavor Tobacco, or the
Commercial Tobacco (I get locally, but this one is 18mg).

Therefore, I am not sure if it is the coloring in one of new ones I got or the flavors:
The Fire Cured Tobacco is a brilliant Yellow in color (like a bright yellow dish liquid)
The DK Tobacco is not as yellow
The flavoring in the Fire Cured is very cigarette-like
The DK has quite an unusual nutty flavor, almost like Peanut Shell or strong Peanut Butter, and is
a bit sweet.

I am also a bit curious: I have read about Authentic DK which has had some noticeable incosistencies
in flavor with One flavor and nic level, while others have said some vendors tamper with it (which I
am pretty sure is not the case here).
I have also seen the True DK right on the DK site and this bottle does not have the True DK Seal on
the bottle (which is a 50ml) but I have no idea what the True DK labels are supposed to look like because
this is the very first DK I have ever used (and I swore I would not buy Chinese ready mixed )

So... I have no real idea but I will try to guage which one starts the headache if it comes on again...
I am vaping the Peach Tobacco 24mg now and not having any problems - even drinking my morning coffee
with it for over 2 hours now and still no headaches.

It very well could be your problem,,,,,,,,I know myself, that I am not great at listening to my body when I need to drink water,,,,,,I might not FEEL thirsty (for some odd reason) but I still need the water,,,,,,when my juices start tasting strange, I drink water,,,,,works every time for me.

BAM!!! "I used to always drink pepsi now I just drink water" - what you are experience is caffeine related withdrawal, its why I cant fully quit drinking coke, and also why you dont get it with the morning joe. slowed way down but every time i dry quit headache city...............
don't believe me? look up what caffeine withdrawal can do to you - it makes nicotine withdrawal silly in comparison.
