terrible headache

So since about 6\7 this evening I've had a terrible headache (6 hours later now). I dont ever get headaches, so I know it's most likely eliquid related. So here's the course of events of my evening.

At about 5 pm went to local vape shop bought a new juice and tank. The tank was a adjustable airflow aerotank. It's awesome, prior to this I was using a iclear30 which IMO was not nearly as good as the new tsk purchased. Was getting more vapor as well as l no dry hits which I got with the iclear.

With the juice bought a bottle of 50\50 pina coolata 12mg made at the shop. Ever since I started vaping have been using 12 mg with no problems. The juice has a pink hue to it which I've never seen or used before. Have had no problems with pg or VG in the past have used 80\20.. 50\50.. 100vg.

So my thoughts are..
-Possibly negative reaction to a flavoring in the juice.
-the juice had more nic then it should have
- the new tank was providing a better vape so more vapor/more nic

Any thoughts or opinions? Out similar experiences?

I vote for curtain number 3 as most likely but cannot rule out number 2.

You might want to lower your nic. Possibly a sensitivity to red dye?

You are getting more nic in your new set-up. The better my set-up the lower I got with my nic. I'm down to 6mg now. It helps a lot. I chain Vape now with no ill effects.

To be safe gonna stay away from the pink colored juice today, cleaned new tank last night, and I'm gonna order sins 6 mg juice today, hopefully won't take to long to get here!

pink? I guess it's better than blue, but I wouldn't trust it.
more nick? probably not.
more vape: yeah; the coil that comes with the aero tank is dual coil so you're probably getting twice as much per vape.

I had that happen and it was from not steeping the fresh juice. Need to leave lid off and let it boil off and mix together. I will never again buy one and just start using it again. Could be some of (- the new tank was providing a better vape so more vapor/more nic) this as well)

Vape related headaches I have had were one of 3 things.

1. Too much nic: to high a nic level, vaping too much, or device change and better vapor production.
2. Perfumy juice I didn't let steep.
3. Burnt coil head (there is a reason I gave up on the Ego-C tank system)

I am stepping down to zero nic. Again. Stepping down for me is bad. Headaches and vivid nightmares. The last time I went to zero nic, I went from 6mg to zero straight away. Wanted to skip stepping down to 3mg, to get it over with. But then, I realized that if I am paying the same price to my vendor for zero nic, as I am for nicotine, I might as well get my moneys worth. But this time I am going the DIY route, so back to zero I go!

Here is an interesting observation I made;

I started at 18mg/ml, or 16mg/ml, using iclear16 clearos, I was using enough eliquid to supply around 33mg of nicotine a day.
I now used 6mg/ml, or 8mg/ml, using a modded Genesis atty, I use enough eliquid to supply around 24mg of nicotine a day.

I'm looking to go with 3-4mg/ml, mainly because I am about at the limit of how much ejuice I can consume, or I'll fill one Genesis with zero and the other with 6/8mg/ml.

The buzz you get should be warning enough to back off.

Aside from that, congratulations on your new toy, I hope you enjoy it when the new juice arrives.

It's probably due to more nicotine, ether from the more efficient device or inaccurate mix.

But, I'll ask since no one else brought it up. Did you drink enough water? I find it easy to let myself get dehydrated if I vape alot and forget to drink enough water. Dehydration can cause headaches.

Just ordered 3 bottles of 6mg (hawksauce, faux hawk, frecked lemonade, and free sample of spurburry) from MBV.. All in 50\50. hoping stepping down from 12 mg to 6 will help out. The aero tank is a nice step up from the top coil iclear 30. Hoping juice gets here soon, not looking forward to cutting back on vaping until the lower nic gets here.

And id say I was hydrated, plenty of water id say.

One thing you could try though it will dilute the flavor a bit. Head out to Wal mart, RIte Aid or CVS and pick up some USP Glycerine. That is VG. Then dilute your existing juice a little bit with it. It would cut down the nic a bit. If you have an extra empty bottle around just dilute a little of your juice and see if that helps.
