It's Pure Smoker's Ace and I haven't had a real cigarette in almost 24 hours. That's very good, for me anyway. I have a couple issues/questions though.

There is a burn when I use it, more when I exhale than when I inhale. Is this the throat hit people talk about? Is it going to ease up as I continue to use it?

Last night while I was falling asleep I could taste the cinnamon from the liquid I was using, not in my mouth but in my lungs. I didn't notice it before but ever since I've been able to taste the last flavor I vaped drifting out of my lungs. It's really starting to bother me.

Finally I'm draining the battery I'm on before the next one is finished charging. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that. Either buy another Ace charger and some more batteries or one of the big battery models, like Pure Smoker's Prodigy V3. The starter kit for it runs about $120 and I've checked a few different sites trying to compare prices and the Prodigy seems to be rather low cost against others out there. It stills seems pretty expensive to me, any thoughts?

OK
Madvapes has the EGO kit on sale for $47.99. Great deal.

I recommend almost all newbs into this to go with the EGO. That way you will KNOW if you like vaping. Later, if you want something smaller and you know more, then newbs can begin to look at other models...

The problem with some small models is performance is not great - even though they may look great. So some people may get turned off if they buy the wrong one...

That is my personal view...

EDIT: I noticed that the EGO for $48 at Madvapes is not a JOYE product, but made by Bauway. No idea if that is the same quality, but wanted to update...

Hey there. What you have (the Ace) is a model Kr808D-1.

Have you tried it with anything other than the cinnamon juice? Cinnamon juice has a tendency to add more throat hit.

If you have, and it's still really too intense for you, then cartomizers may not be for you. They do have a stronger throat hit than atomizers.

If you find that you like it better with a different juice, then you may want to look into the Elegant from CigEasy.com, or the Defender from VaporNine.com.

What these are, is basically an eGo built for the Kr808D-1 cartomizers. So you will get that super-awesome battery life without having to buy a whole new kit.

The Elegant and the Defender also run at a *slightly* lower voltage than regular Kr808D-1 batteries, which may soften up the hit a bit for you.

The Prodigy V3 is a 6v mod. I would recommend you give that a pass for now. Using mods safely and correctly requires you to spend some time doing your homework.

Also, 6v is almost twice as much power as what you've got now. The Kr808D-1 runs at 3.7v, so if that's too much for you right now, a 6v e-cig is going to really tear you up.

As far as costing too much. Everyone is forgetting that this is a high volt device. THis is not your 3volt standard kit. This is a big battery mod. The prodigy v3. As with most big bat mods they are around $130. It also carries a 6 month warranty. Which most kits only have 1 month.

THat being said. I would go for the eGo. You are just starting vaping. The ego is a good starter kit for beginers. Then if you like vaping in a few months then go for the big bat mods.

I have to agree that the $120 seems high. I got my eGo kit with 2 batteries, 2 attys/carts and for about $85 from Good Prophets.

My 510 batteries will last me 3-4 hours, but my eGo batteries will last me 10-12 hours. So I would highly recommend switching.

$85 is too much for an eGo kit.
