This is probably bad........but I opened up the top of the Infinity myself after the thought of having to send it off to be repaired. Well, the negative wire is just hanging ..............yep, not even attached. It's pretty darn bad when you gotta go behind your husband's work & "double check it". He is at Walmart at the moment........so I called him, asked him if it's supposed to be attached to anything, he says yeah, & that he'll solder it on when he gets home.

So...............wait, he opened it yesterday, looked & made sure the positive wire was connected.........but didn't look at the negative wire? OMFG WTF?????. This is just one of the reasons that I filed for divorce last September. (but I still love him, so I haven't set the final court date to make the divorce final) Besides, if I went through with the divorce, I wouldn't have anyone to work on my cars at the drop of a dime, or mod stuff for vaping because I think it's cute, or take care of me when I become highly intoxicated at public venues, and I wouldn't be living with my BFF in the entire world, a man that totally accepts me and all of my dorky-ness.

The reason my husband is at walmart is because yesterday afternoon we finally got rain here in the suburbs of Houston. Well, we had a power outage & I think it fried the condenser & relay on my central AC. So, I ordered the parts online (will be shipped UPS ground, so it'll take 87 days to get here, lol). I sent the hubby on a mission to walmart to pick up a window unit for my bedroom until the parts for the central air system arrive so that he can fix it. My house isn't even old.....

In the end, i'm glad I married a grease monkey rather than a suit.

Anyway............I have no idea what kind of Infinity I have.........I've seen people talk about "lights" on their Infinities here on the forum & my Infinity does not have any lights at all. It has a dial with what looks to be a little white mark on it. I guess I have the ninja/stealth limited edition Infinity.

Like I said......Stuff happens, but mostly to me, so none of you guys need to worry about it. :)

I'm gonna have my husband solder the negative Infinity wire back on THEN install the window unit in my bedroom. Priorities, right? After that I'll see if my baby needs to make a trip to the Buzz ER.

Thanks Mike for being super fast on my support ticket that I submitted. *crossing fingers* it's most likely the negative lead that isn't attached to anything that is causing my Infinity not to fire.

.........BTW, my husband was suppose to be working on a chameleon paint job on my street legal mustang this weekend.........NOT fixing central air, installing window units, & soldering PVs. I can't believe that the Mustang is taking a back seat to anything.

Whoa, I know that I like a PV when I "open up" on their forum.
Thanks Chelle! & 5CS~ yep, he's tough to the core. It's like 102 degrees here.......... & he's been outside all day diagnosing the central air situation, now he's installing the window unit. My husband is pretty awesome when it comes right down to it. He can do almost anything except for walking on water. :)

As promised on the tat pics. I had to do this with my crappy camera as my kid decided to go to a 4th party.

Upper left arm. Included in the pic are all of the chiggers I got yesterday (little red dots). Little buggers drove me nuts.

Left calf...sorry for the red bumpiness...I just shaved with a dull razor:blink:

Cool tats...BMWjen says it hurts more then childbirth... so it will be a while before I consider it again because childbirth HURT and no matter how loud I screamed for drugs they did not give me any!

LOL....no it didn't hurt. Mine bothered me about 4 hours after they were done. It was when I took the bandage off and air hit it. Stung like a rug burn but once I put lotion on it, it was okay. Big thing is to keep it clean and coated. I only had one child and was not going through that again. I have more than one tat...does that help?

I said I wasn't doing it again after my first child... but some how that didn't happen!

You and jen seem to be telling two VERY different stories! If I ever come up with an idea of something I want permantly on me I will probably go ahead and try... But I am often slow to make up mind.

The one thing I know is, I won't be getting it removed. When I lived in Florida we had a neighbor and on the day he turned 18 he had my tattoo artist friend do an entire back piece ... his first tat. It was a picture of the devil sitting on a throne with 3 or 4 mostly naked women all around his feet. Tons of detail work. Well to make a long story short, about 6 months later he caught religion and decided he had to get it removed. Took about 10 - 15 hours to get it, when we moved a year later he was still going once a week to have it removed!

I had a tiny one removed that a "want to be artist" did. They remove them with a laser. It was like getting stung by a bee...repeatedly. They hurt less getting put on than off. I couldn't even imagine getting my back done, then turning around and having it removed...OUCH! Plus the expense of it would kill me even more. My tiny tat cost me $80 to have put on and $600 to have removed. Nothing but a costly messed up tat that I have nothing to show for.

Why didn't you do a cover up over it? If you find a good enough artist they can do some aewsome cover up work!

I know the back piece was crazy. His entire back was covered! It was not the art I would pick, but the work was awesome and the detail was amazing. I don't know what he paid to get it off, but I assume based on how long it took it was thousands of dollars. I often wondered how much longer it took for it to be completely gone as we moved a year after they started to remove it.

my back piece probably hurt worse than childbirth because it was done all in one sitting...........at least that's what i'm thinking. The little infinity I got took like 10 minutes.....no big deal.
I found a photo.......cropped it, but still felt like it was rather obscene for ECF.....so I deleted it.

No fair deleting obscene photos.
