Got My Order Today, But Have Some Questions...

My cousin ordered me a Mini PCC kit for my birthday, and I am thrilled with it. Throat hit and flavour is amazing! So different from my Volcano (and good timing too, I dropped the atomizer on the floor and it no longer works )

I do however have some small problems (I've e-mailed CS via their website, but any tips would be fabulous).
Two of the cartos don't work at all. I wound up with a liquid explosion in my mouth. Bluuurgh! I replaced it with another I knew already worked and had no problems.
I've set them to the side, but am running out of cartos. I'd hopefully like to get them to work because the next order I have probably won't hit here til Monday. Is it possible to tinker with them to get them working?

They start too taste bad, and they start to get really hot.

Sometimes I have to screw the cartos off and on a few times to get them to connect right on the battery, and if you inhale too hard you could be pulling the juice out the mouth piece because it is not atomizing at all, a few primer puffs and then slow and long should be enough. Even though the carto looks like it is connected it probably could take another 1/4 turn or so

LOL I think this one particular cart does not like me. Despite taking smaller puffs (though I had assumed I was doing those with the others), and making certain it was screwed on all the way it was more like SIPPING nic-liquid rather than inhaling it.

Ooof that taste makes me cringe. Hard to believe it's so delicious when vaporized.

Hmmm, that's odd. Only time I've gotten liquid in my mouth was by puffing pretty savagely on a refilled cartomizer. I wonder if maybe its inner o-ring is missing. kc0mp's video on cart refilling (in the stickies here in the V4L forum) demonstrates how to get the cap off, if you want to look inside.

Edit to add: Is the battery light coming on every time?

The only time I have gotten fluid in the mouth with the VK (happened with the 510 all the time!) was when I myself overfilled a carto. I imagine though that they can be overfilled at the factory too. Maybe open the carto, and take a qtip and stick it down and dab at the filler to try to soak up any extra fluid (not too much though) and dry off the ring and the cap before putting them back on and try again.

Well that's the weird part, the light does come on, I wasn't sucking my face off trying to inhale, but every time I do inhale with this particular carto there is juice in my mouth. I do have some liquid hanging around from when I was dripping with the Volcano, so I will most certainly check out those videos. Thanks you guys!

I guess I should probably mention it is also a manual battery.
