Got one of the Triton attys charging. Got the tobacco sampler and loaded up a Tribeca. Not as sweet as the stuff I got from the local place, which kind of tasted like a burnt marshmallow to me. Tribeca has a fuller taste, kinda nutty but not the sweetness. I think I like it.
And, this thing REALLY puts out a cloud! :vapor:

So, the UI pass thru I picked up over the weekend (no markings on it), what I discovered:
1) The carts I got for it fit the Triton too.
2) The tank I got with it fits the Triton too.
3) The Triton tanks DO NOT fit the UI pass thru.

I thought the G6 mini tanks fit the Triton but the Triton tanks don't fit the G6, right?
So, I'm thinking this pass thru must have G6-type threads.
Got a G6 on the way (but no minis), so have to wait to figure that out.

The G6 has an 808 threading (specifically, KR-808D-1) and is compatible with several brands.

The Triton has a special threading, which is fully backwards compatible with the G6 line, so you can keep using the G6 cartos or mini tank on the Triton.

Triton has two threads. The top thread is 808, and the bottom one is a common thread to larger batteries. This combination is often called vGo, or IGo. While the lower thread is the same as an eGo battery, an eGo tank will not (likely) fit on the Triton, because the position of the top threads are not the same.

An eGo connector is topped with a 510 thread, instead of 808. It's easy to tell them apart, because the thread on 510 is on the inside, not the outside like the 808.

Here's a pic of an eGo connector (credited by ECF member):

Congrats and welcome, Halon!!!

The Triton tank does make purty clouds, don't it!!!

And it might be the tank (and the battery) resulting in a slightly cooler vape, so you aren't getting a burnt taste?

Enjoy!!

(and don't overdo it the first few days. You can put it down for a bit. Really.

At least that's what others have told me!!)

We are Halon.

Welcome ArchDame!

I know you are gonna love your Triton.

Before I got mine, I was using a set up from our local Smoke Shop and I was so glad I did because I was able to really appreciate how good my Triton was when I got it.

Evie luv and DaveOno are right.

Watch out for that pesky "Vapor's Tongue."

I had it during my second week of vaping and I think it would have scared me a little if I had not known what was happening.

Luckily I had been reading posts here so I knew exactly what it was.

Keep us updated on how you are doing and what flavors you are liking.

Happy Vaping!

Cindy

Diva! I have actually. :)

Hubby brought home a bug - scratchy throat - and the tobacco juices weren't cutting it. So, I decided to give the Kringle's Curse a try. OH MY! So soothing on a scratchy throat - like sucking on a candy cane without the calories!

Then my second vapemail came yesterday. Had about 2/3 a tank left of Kringle's so filled it the rest of the way with with Belgian Cocoa. Heaven! Just like a peppermint patty.

Before the bug, tried Midnight Apple - at first didn't seem to have much flavor - not like the fresh apple nose hit from smelling it in the bottle. It got a little better with time.
Still haven't tried the Voodoo, but it's next on my list.

I think some juices are like fruit, you have to let them ripen. er, get ripe.
But if you wait too long, you miss it. It keeps changing.

I have this Dr. Pepper from somewhere else, and it was meh at first. Then was better.

Then I got the Triton and Halo juices. So after 8 weeks, tried Dr. again.

Yeuch! Tastes like plastic!!!!!

Glad to hear it ArchDame! Just telling MY hubby about the medicinal virtues of Kringle's Curse. I was all congested a couple of days ago, and had just received the free sample of KC. Wow! It works! Please try the VOODOO! We need MORE converts...lololol. Happy Vaping! :vapor:
