I ordered 2 new batteries last week to replace 2 that had bad threads, I was told I would have to send the the old ones back, but I didn't receive any return postage, well since I recieved the new batteries I have gotton the old ones to work, now I have 4, 2 I paid for and 2 for free. I am trying to keep a good relationship with vapor4life,you guys have been good to me since I started using your product. Will you send return postage, so I can send them back?

I'm not sure I understand the OPs reason for wanting v4l to pay postage. You jumped the gun contacting vapor4life about the threads. Did you try the batteries with multiple cartomizers before you contacted them? Sometimes certain cartos don't screw on right, in which case its the cartomizer, not the battery. It's always a good idea to troubleshoot before asking for replacements. V4L sent you two batteries, your batteries in fact are working properly, why would they be responsible for the 3-4 dollar postage? I'm lost.

Sorry - I'm probably just confused. Happens all the time.

Here's what my eyeball did:

Was it supposed to do something else?

True that he might try sanding them, but also true that many people I tried to introduce to ecigs actually want to avoid sanding batteries and repairing new things.

(edit add: It can get confusing when I hand out V4L cards and have to tell them that they may have to sand the metal threads down if the ones they get don't work. )

But the postage could be even less. When V4L sent me my bottle, the regular mail postage was 1.80 (plust the cost of the little envelope I guess).

For better response, try sending this via the Contact Us link above.

 Adrenalynn
That would go to ECF forum administration indeed.
No Jeff, you're right too, you get the response in the order it was received, but I guess the other possibility is that you can sometimes get closer to real-time assistance here on the forum also.

As much as I feel that a buyer should not be responsible for return postage since it really isn't within their control to receive working products, the buyer should ascertain that the products are really faulty before making a complaint & getting replacements. It isn't about the extra few dollars. In this case, I feel that the buyer should cover the return postage.

V4L has been good to me when it comes to replacements of faulty or DOA items. I am a very happy customer who will buy AND buy!

Most people just wrap a peice of tissue around each item, and send them in an envelope for about a buck.:mail:

V4L is commited to trusting our customers, and for us to ship you the 2 replacements, as well as postage, prior to receiving what you said was defective, means we trust you.:p

That is unheard of in most any industry. We have over 20 employee's now, and we get it did.:)

It is your decision how you would like to handle this, on a public forum, is not a personal way. We are available to talk to, live, pm, email, et.:toast:

Thank you

When I buy a new product I don't think I should have to be sanding on it to get it to work. The item is supposed to be new when you buy it, repairs shouldn't have to be made. ................I know in my experiences when asked by a company to send something back because it was flawed, they would pay for shipping, if this would happen more then once, well sending their flawed products back would get expensive. Not saying that this company would keep doing this, but I hope you get my point...............I believe that this company is a reputable company and I hope to do more business with them.
