Got some great customer service last night

I would guess an anomaly. When mine came in the cells were in two 2-cell boxes, and they also shipped an empty 4-cell box. They could have as easily loaded the cells into the box I paid for... I'll bet if you email and tell them you didn't get the boxes they'd send some. Or I will, since I now have spares

It's no biggie, I've got plenty of spare cases, and I am retiring some cells, so there's that. It won't affect my future decision to keep buying from them either. Just found it odd, as all of my previous orders came with cases. Maybe I'll email them just to let them know, could be a new employee or just an oops on a packers handling of the order...stuff happens.

So I just pinged them through their ticket system, and even stated that there was no need to send any cases, I just wanted to let them know in case it was an oversight on the packer's part, will post any response and action on their part.

Just heard back from Randy, they include cases with the Sony, LG, and Samsung batteries as per an agreement with their supplier. Also said they will try to include them with other cells if they have enough on hand, and that they are working towards including cases with all cells sold. My previous orders were for the three mentioned cell types, so that explains why I always got cases before.
