Got the 510 for the win

Just got my 510 this morning and charged battery for 8 hours. I blowed the primer oil out of the atty. Then I put two drops of liquid and put a few drops in the prefilled cart that came with the 510. At first the hits were strong with alot of vape and they are so so now. Maybe I just need to get a blank cart and fill it up with the juice i ordered.

Put a couple more drops on the atty, they dont like to go dry and taste yukky when they do.Then head on over to the cart mods thread and find a way you like to mod your cart.
I have tried just about all of them and like the straw mod the best personally.
the filler in the carts that come with it dont feed the atty very well at all.

Vapor and flavor will go down on mine when the battery starts going low, or when the atty is going dry. make sure when you top off the cart that the filler is going to touch the atty when you put it back together. I used a toothpick and a paper clip. If that filler isnt touching the atty the fluid wont wick fast enough when you take a draw. The cart needs to line up with the atty inside also. There are a couple vids on U tube about this. Some of the pros here should have the links.

Yeah the others are quite right - the battery wont last all day - couple of hours if youre lucky (20 -30 mins if you chain on it lol). Once its getting weaker (and you knwo its not htat you need more juice in thecart) then switch out the battery and charge the old one. I got myself a PT for home use (get a USB/AC wall plug dont risk your PC ports) to avoid that issue

Instead of fussing with lining up the cart with the atty, just trim the cart about 1/16-1/8 in. They will melt on the ends if you don`t or don`t line up the carts right. Lining up the carts right doesn`t position a whistle tip in line with a manual battery button though, that`s why I trim them.

Thanks for the insight guys, i will get different cart cause these came with some nasty ... flavor and i also thought that the ones that came with the 510 would be cheap.

IMO, forget the carts and buy a drip tip. Just drip a couple drops into the tip and you are good to go for several puffs (mine last about 15-20) and then drip a couple more drops. No taking carts off or messing around with it. Best little invention I have found since I started this journey.

You don't have to get a new cart if you have juice, which it sounds like you do. Just pull the filler out and rinse it under hot water and then dry it thoroughly. I would also highly recommend a cart filler mod. My personal favorite is the Blue Foam Dart mod, but there are a number that get great reviews.

Cartos are wonderful! And hold a bit more juice.. also there will only be two pieces instead of three.. just had to add my two cents.. I went to cartos and don't intend to switch back unless I absolutely have to

As long as you don't over do it, you should be fine. It only takes two or three drops at a time and you'll get 5 good drags or so. Just be sure not to vape past when the vapor drops off or you'll get it too dry.
