thank you. i had thought 2.5 sounded low. then i went to chekc on provape.com and it didnt say! well, i couldnt find it if it did.

It shows at the product page, do not click into the item

Amperage Limiting to 3.5 amps
The ProVari will monitor and shut itself off if it detects any excessive over-current conditions.

If this error occurs the ProVari will alert you by displaying E2 on the digital display.
Fix: Lower your voltage setting.

V2 - Version 2 now has a higher amperage limit of 3.5amp for low resistance atomizers and cartomizers.

I've had my did for about 2 weeks now, and finally have it working the way i want. This gen atty is great but takes a while to get working. The copper posts and nuts seam to be very sensitive. I had lots of problems with popping coils and hot spots. I found it helps if all the nuts are real tight, the wick isnt too thick, small adjustments and above all lots of paitence. Persist you will like it :)

Bronze, not copper, important difference.

LOL, I GOT IT YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
I followed Rip Trippers video to wrap my coil, it succeed.
Also, i remembered martinc said it can't touch the base.
First, It had few hot spots, i fixed it with some adjustment.
But, it smells metallic.
I was wet burning it to let the coil to be oxidized.
then, I kept wet burning it for 2/3 per tank twice and made adjustments.
Finally, it works!!!!!!!
It is @1.7 ohm, @3.7V!!!!!!!
Thank you so much for all of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:vapor:
